This place is great to spend a holiday or weekend. The service is great, and the personnel very kind. All the place have an antique architecture, characteristic from Antigua Guatemala. Beds are confortable. They don’t have a very extended menu but have a basic breakfast (eggs, beans and plantains). In general, La Casona is a nice place.

Hotel was quaint and safe. Breakfast was nice with option of eggs with beans and salsa. Beds could have used new sheets- they felt worn and not the cleanest. Also, the toilet was clogged when we arrived and overflowed. It was middle of the night when it happened, so we just checked out in the morning rather than raise it and they were apologetic about it. Also, shower didn’t get warm water in the morning.

This hotel is underrated when compared to other three-star hotels in Peru. It is located only five minutes' walk away from the centre. It is clean, the rooms are spacious and clean. There is free filtered water at the guests disposal. The staff are extremely helpful. The food is good (both breakfast and dinner).

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel and everything was great. The staff was very effective and attentive, I was in contact before to book a taxi from the airport with a late check in and also had an early check out with no problem. The room was very comfortable with a great bed and good wifi as well as enough duvet as nights can be cold, no A/C needed really! The breakfast was good and I encourage you to take it from the second floor which has a fantastic views of the volcanoes. The place is unique as it has a colonial style yet it is brand new, yet it is very well done with a lot of style. The walk to the centre of town is fast and pleasant as you see the real life walking through. It was also safe to walk back at night around 9pm. Highly recommended to relax in a pleasant place after a long day exploring the wonders of Antigua.

Nice location and comfortable room. Only problem was too late to get hot water from the faucet but staff gave me solution with kindness. Especially a reception staff, Mr. Jairon López seemed very kindness and friendly for me, he gave me lots of information and helps.

Might be slightly difficult to find as it is located within a gated community, but it is a beautiful hotel, with a quaint traditional look, good service, great wi fi and excellent breakfast made to order. The staff are helpful and responsive. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the Central Park area but a few minutes from the famous Santo Domingo museum and hotel. Happy to recommend.

This is the first time I have ever wanted to photograph a room I stayed in (even the bathtub). I believe this is a new place just built to appear old; it is just too perfect. This is my dream house. The hotel itself is a bit far compared to others more near town, but only a 20 to 30 minute walk from the “arco” probably 5 minutes by car. The price is well worth the distance when compared to other similar hotels that cost double just for proximity. You will more than save with cheap taxis or tuk tuks. Breakfast included is nice. Staff is really friendly and attentive. Ask for an upper room if available (room 7 was my room). Wifi signal good all around the hotel and room. Only downside is no restaurant for lunch or dinner so you must either order in or go out, but hey isn’t this why you travel.

Small hotel in safe, gated community with reasonable rates. Open air courtyard. Roof-top breakfast area. Front desk personnel and breakfast servers are helpful and friendly. They speak a little English but mostly Spanish. Our two beds were spacious, clean. Most baths include bathtub and shower combination. We paid a delicious breakfast of eggs, platanos, beans and biscuits. The drawbacks for this hotel are: 20 min walk to Central Park, challenging plumbing with having to flush toilet several times, lukewarm shower water and the lack of window screens allowing insects into room. Second year in a row we stayed here. Will do so again next year. This is Antigua and plumbing is always an issue.
