This is a lovely quaint Spanish style low rise hotel near enough to the main square to walk in 3 minutes but far enough away to be quiet. We stayed there twice with the first time in room 204 towards the rear of the hotel suffering from cold water in the morning. The second room 210 had no such problems....

We stayed here at the end of a lovely visit to Guatemala. The location is exceptional. A block to the big square, a block to the best Fair Trade shopping complex where you can purchase fabric, chocolate, jewelry, old traditional woven garments. And a block from one of our favorite restaurants. Our room was small, yet we watched the debates...

I enjoyed my two night stay. The room was comfortable and the open courtyard in the middle of the hotel made a nice sitting area. Staff was great and the room was clean with nice decor. Very quiet at night (though my room was close to the breakfast area which made things a bit louder in the morning). I would...

We had two nights at this hotel which was very nice, really well decorated in a rustic style with lots of beautiful greenery. It is situated in a great spot with plenty of restaurants close by as well as the central plaza. Unfortunately our room was off the main courtyard where breakfast was served so it was VERY noisy in...

Lots of detail and special decoration. Beautiful roof terrace where you can see sunsets and sunrises, backrounded with all volcanoes. Fresh flowers and perfectly located for city sightseeing highlights. Proper breakfast served at pretty courtyard patio. Very pleased to stay here.

We were only here for 1 night and this is a good, central location for a brief tour with reasonably quiet rooms (except for some fellow guests) set around a delightful, central courtyard. There is no restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat round about and the breakfast was adequate. Lighting in our room was poor and the...

The hotel is right in the middle of ancient Antigua. Feels like the old (Spanish days) if you stay yhere. From the roof terrace nice views over the city and the vulcanos. During our stay we were lucky to see the smoke and magma eruption of the Fuego. Rooms are rather small, but it fits into the total environment and...

This was a charming hotel with a rooftop view of the surrounding volcanoes. Wifi and hot water was a little spotty but the room had a tv and you have a nice sitting area outside your room. Sometimes you can hear conversations but after dark guests go back to their rooms. Location was excellent, you can walk to main attractions...

Hotel Meson de Maria is a fabulous small boutique hotel in a great location. We were luckily enough to stay over Christmas and the place was beautifully decorated. The hotel is two courtyards with rooms off the courtyards, we were in room 209 was a great little sofa area outside the room with a view of the two volcanos. There...

If you are starting your tour in Antigua this hotel is an excellent choice. Very centrally located just a short distance from the main plaza, this hotel puts you within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is well appointed, comfortable and decorated with a seemingly endless array of curio. The staff were friendly and discreet and the...
