This is a must stay hotel in Split. The staff are incredible and will go over and above to ensure your trip is enjoyable. The breakfast is lovely, they will cook you an omelette, bacon, sausages or pancakes. There is also a selection of cold meats and cheeses and fresh bread and pastries. They ensured they had dairy free milk for me and gluten free bread for my husband. The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the area. The room was lovely and the staff made it very special with a bottle of sparkling water with balloons for our anniversary. They gave my husband a bottle of cherry liquor for his birthday and made him a cake and sang to him. When we go back to Split, we will absolutely stay here!

Hotel's Favourite
Loved everything about Hotel Murum in the heart of Split. Incredibly helpful staff - sorting a taxi from the airport and booking a fantastic restaurant were both no problem. The room - for our family of 4 - was comfy, stylish and cool. The welcome was amazing and the breakfast fantastic. The team even carried our bags down to the ferry when we left and showed us where to go. If you’re in Split for a few days and want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the historic and cultural heart of the city I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

This was an extremely nice experience. We arrived via private car. They told us where to park and had someone waiting for us to carry our bags to the hotel. The service of the hotel stay was also amazing. They were truly there to make everything very easy for us as far telling us how much time we needed to meet our tours and anything else we needed. Their restaurant recommendations were also perfect. We travel a lot and we have not had this good of experience ever. We left early in the morning to catch a ferry to our next destination and they had someone waiting to take us to our car and they had a bagged breakfast waiting for us. The hotel itself was in the perfect location to everything, the room was large with AC even though we left the windows open. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We stay in the top-floor terrace room at the Murum Heritage Hotel in Split for 3-nights in late-Apr (€292/night). The Murum is a 7-room hotel located on a tiny square in the heart of Diocletian's 4th century palace, convenient to all of the tourist sites. The palace is a maze of tiny pedestrian streets and paths that makes the hotel daunting to find. Fortunately, the staff arranged our pick-up at the car rental and a fellow to lead us through the palace to the hotel (after an hour of walking around, you will find it impossible to get lost in either the palace or the adjacent old town). Our room was moderate in size, elegant and airy with white walls, light brown parquet floors and wall panels, and dark wood furniture. It was furnished with a comfortable king bed, small desk with coffee maker, large wall-mounted TV, mini-refrigerator, 2-shelves with a hanger section for clothes (a bit small, and no room for the luggage), and a large safe. The bathroom was stylishly modern, with a large shower and a couple of windows. It was the patio, though, that made the room perfect. Entered through a double glass door with a single door to the side, it provided a large lounging area, full of potted plants, and with a large table, 2 chairs and a small couch. A power awning that could retracted made it a great space, regardless of the weather, to relax with a drink after a long day of seeing the sights. Breakfast was good, with cold cuts, fruits, a menu selection of hot food. The staff were great, thoughtful, friendly, helpful with restaurant suggestions, reservations (they even offered to walk us to the restaurant). They also arranged for our complimentary transfer to the Hvar ferry. Overall, a very nice splurge hotel in a historic location. I'm sure any room is good, but we found it well worth the extra charge for the only room with the outdoor patio.

MURUM Boutique Hotel - right in the middle of the old town Palace , Split Croatia. Luxurious, clean and so close to quality restaurants, tours, shopping or just sitting by the promenade enjoying the sights of a beautiful harbour. The Staff were fabulous and even prepared us lunchbags as we missed breakfast going on an early tour. A special thanks to Margarita !! Also Jacob for lugging our heavy bags ( still with a smile ) Fond memories of our stay in Croatia !!!

Boutique Hotel in the heart of the old town in Split. Location second to none. The staff was amazing !! So outgoing, upbeat and helpful. The building has a tremendous amount of history. The rooms are a little on the smallish scale but one must understand it is a boutique hotel. The front desk helped us make dinner reservations every night and they never failed us. Highly recommended

This property is located within Diocletian's Palace. It is a wonderful boutique hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms with exposed walls and modern amenities. While the property speaks for itself, it was the great staff which made our 30th wedding anniversary stay most pleasurable. From our arrival with Margarita to Ivana, Jelena and last but not least Dea, who fulfilled all of our breakfast desires. Thank you all again for your warmth and hospitality. My wife and I look forward to a return visit to Split and the Hotel Murum.

My wife and I stayed here in October 2022. The hotel is beautiful - it is in the middle of Split's old town. The hotel staff was helpful and arranged parking for us just outside of the old town. They picked us up from the parking area and brought our bags to the hotel. The room was amazing and the breakfast was also excellent. We really enjoyed our visit.

Excellent small boutique hotel, great location, amazing breakfast (included). But what made it over the top was the best staff I’ve ever encountered. They were warm, friendly, and welcoming every time we entered the doors. Overall, this is probably my favorite hotel ever, given all the above factors.
