This hotel was booked at short notice for one night. The gentleman at the reception desk (I think his name was Frane) welcomed us warmly and gave clear direction on where to park. The underground parking garage had decent size parking bays and electrical charging points. Going there off season, there was plenty of spaces however I imagine this fills up quickly in summer. Our room was fantastic, with a lovely view of the beach and the sea. I have no criticisms whatsoever of the room. The breakfast was banging. It included an afternoon tea style selection of continual bits - cheese, meat, fruit, etc as well as a selection of freshly prepared hot meals. I would absolutely recommend the pancakes, fruit and maple syrup! All in all, a faultless stay - I only wish we had booked to stay for longer…

We stayed at the Briig for a total of 7 days (split into two visits) during our Croatian holiday. Make no mistake this hotel is top notch and totally deserves the ‘boutique’ label - it is small enough to be intimate but big enough to cater for every whim of their guests. The whole hotel is modern and has all mod cons one would expect (A/C, Nespresso machines in rooms, WiFi, rooftop Pool and sun lounge area, Sauna, Massage Rooms etc) The rooms are superb with massive beds and lovely modern furnishings and get thoroughly serviced every day. The penthouse suite (which we were upgraded to on the last night!) is to die for with its own sun balcony & hot tub! The absolute jewel in the crown of this hotel though are not the furnishings and rooms - but the staff. We were totally looked after from the moment we stepped through the sliding doors. The marvellous reception staff (Ivan, Frane, Jelena to name a few – and pretty much everyone I spoke to!) had excellent english and were only too happy to help me out with trips, ferry transfers, taxis, room requests you name it. Super nice people. This extended to the bar and restaurant where bar-men, bar-women and waiters and waitresses (such as Ivana and Josip) were only too pleased to suggest drinks, cocktails, wines, menu choices et al All with super efficiency and the easy charm of the Croatians. The restaurant itself is excellent whether for lunch or a blow-out evening meal. The outside terrace is lovely and shaded, and you are less than a minute’s walk from the Bačvice Beach - which is worth a visit as well as the coffee house and bar on the seafront Cafe Žbirac (which is full of locals as well as a few tourists!) The whole hotel is less than 10 mins walk from the Diocletian Palace in the centre of the Old Town of Split, or the docks, and so you are well set up for either a visit to some of the top restaurants in Split or a speedboat trip out to the Islands, or making your connection to a catamaran or ferry to stay on Hvar, Korcula, Vis or Brac. I have to say I can’t imagine a more perfect hotel in Split. And in fact as my son said we’d like to clone the hotel and staff and install it on some of the other islands (and maybe other countries!) Thoroughly recommended for any trip – my wife and I are thinking of going back out of the main season for a weekend breakaway as it really is a perfect hotel.…

I stayed 2 nights in Briig with my husband and due to low season, the hotel offered to upgrade our room to a seaview room which was nice and welcoming! As we arrived late at night so we just dined in the hotel restaurant and the food was great! Breakfast was served in the same place and hot food could be ordered from menu. Some ham and cheese were also served with bread to start. The hotel was in a walking distance to Riva Harbor and they had a car park at basement. There are also many parking slots nearby. Room size was ok and was clean and neat. The bath tub was huge and water pressure for bathing was good. Overall it was a lovely stay and I will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to go to Split!

Stayed here for a couple of nights last time in Split. The location itself is amazing on Bacvice beach with a great view of the beach itself if you get the rooms with a view. It also has a great udnerground garage for cars including EV chargers. The service at the reception was flawless, the rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The whole hotel looks great, the outside bar is perfect to hrab a drink or to eat. Breakfast was very good, they have some great combinations to order with eggs. All together a splendid hotel to visit, just keep in mind it has a high price during tourist season.

Got the panoramic view of the ocean, really quite special. Woke up to red sunrises and birds flying by with the ocean each night. The breakfast buffet is great, they will make anything you ask for within reason, and the eggs in split are delicious in general. Room was stylish and clean, and the style of the hotel overall is just excellent. Saw this place from the street the last time I was here, and I knew I had to visit -- glad I did!

Design is a modern loft and is outstanding for sure! I have not lived in the hotel, but I will, one day. The restaurant serves the best black seafood pasta in Split. I like the comfort of big round tables. The downside of a restaurant is poor ventilation system.

We chose this hotel for the location as a ten minute walk from the centre which worked well. The room was smart but impractical.it had an enormous stylish bath which ran out of hot water and took an age to half fill and only a hand held shower head to rinse hair. I think a shower is a fairly basic minimum to expect. At a hotel of this calibre I expect to be in control of the air conditioning but as a previous reviewer said it is fixed at temperature the hotel has deemed appropriate! We did not try dinner as the cooked items at breakfast were all very greasy and unappetising. We tried the crepes on a couple of occasions which were thick, doughy and only cooked on one side but completely raw on the other and yet coated in an oily substance. Truly disgusting and inedible. Stick to the continental breakfast. Credit though to the smiling waiting staff at breakfast.…

A modern, nice, comfortable and clean hotel. Located very near the old town (5 minutes walk) and along the sea, this modern hotel has everything you need. The rooms are spacious, clean, beds are super comfy and equipment is top. Moreover, the staff is super friendly and helpful and gave very good recommandations for dinners and place to visit in Split.

The Briig is a luxury boutique hotel that opened in 2019. It’s located next to a small (by US standards) hard packed gray “sand” beach and just a 10-minute walk to the ferry terminal and 15 min to old town. I chose it to so as to be outside the cruise-ship infested madness that is Split. We booked a 3-night stay in a panorama sea-view room that was located on the 4th floor. The entire wall at the foot of the bed was glass making for a great view. While a “suite” the room wasn’t all that large by US standards Pros: -stylish and modern, like an art museum -amazing views from our room -modern, spacious well-appointed bathroom -towels are provided for the nearby beach -amazing breakfast buffet -helpful friendly staff -great location, very happy to be outside craziness of old town area Con: -you cannot control the temperature in your room (A BIG negative for me-minus one star for that and reason I would NOT stay here in height of summer—especially in a south facing room with 1 wall of glass). Maximum cool temperature they allow is 22 (around 72F) and you have to call the front desk and persuade them even to go that low. Bottom line: beautiful hotel best suited to travelers from Europe (who don’t care about AC like Americans) or stays outside of the hot season…
