My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Judita Palace for our honeymoon and it was the perfect end to our trip to Croatia. We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the People's Square and spent a ton of time people watching from there. The staff is very friendly and will literally not allow you to lift a finger on your stay. They gave us recommendations for food and we tried 3 of their recommended restaurants, each of them delicious. You can tell they take pride in their knowledge of the local food scene and we love that. Honestly an amazing and magical hotel.

The hotel is a beautiful old building that has lovely rooms, restaurant, bar, courtyard. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted and the staff welcoming. Looks as good as the online pictures, and is right on the town square. The rooms are well sound proofed so no issuers with noise.

Had an amazing experience here. We had booked a family room, and the team at Palace Judita said they weren’t busy and upgraded us to have our own executive rooms and what essentially amounted to our own private wing. The location is fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The team is on WhatsApp and met us at the end of the pedestrian zone to carry our bags to the hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location in old town and walking distance to everything. Due to covid, we were able to pre-order our breakfast, which would have normally been a buffet. They brought it to our room each day at a time we specified. It was almost too beautiful to eat. Each evening, we were provided with whatever we needed, no questions asked if we wanted water, wine, snacks, etc. All handled quickly and professionally. Staff was 100% compliant in mask usage.

Two small cons: the hotel is in a pedestrian zone and accessed with a flight of steep stairs. While the staff is great about handling bags, do consider this if you have mobility issues. Second, the toiletries were not the greatest. The lotion was quite sticky and there was no hair conditioner provided, so be advised to bring your own (as this seems common in European hotels, we had prepared and brought our own conditioner).

If we return to Split, hands down we would stay here again.

This was our favorite boutique hotel ever! We traveled with four couples and all of us absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect, rooms beautiful (although each are unique, so make sure you choose what works for you) and breakfast delicious. Above all was the staff. They clearly love their job and work together as if they are a family. And they made us feel like part of the family. They attended to every detail, no matter how big or small. Andrija was perfection from the information prior to check in to his truly enjoyable and fun engagement with us throughout our stay. He and Mike (sorry, I know that's not spelled right) could have their own reality show. Their sense of humor was incredible! We were very tired on our first night and decided to eat a light dinner in the sitting room. We had put some meats, cheeses and wine in their refrigerator. We asked Mike for some glasses and before we knew it, he arrived in the sitting room with all of our food, sliced and laid out perfectly on beautiful serving pieces along with the wine glasses and water. It was well beyond what we expected. Unfortunately, I don't have the names of each staff person with whom we connected, but they were each helpful and probably the best service we've experienced at a hotel. They met us at our boat, didn't let us touch our luggage and Andrija paraded us to the hotel as if we were visiting dignitaries, albeit dignitaries who were disheveled after spending a day boating. ;) If you're looking for a stuffy, uptight and pretentious hotel, don't go here. If you want one of the best experiences you can have in a wonderful historic city, stay here. I give it my absolute highest recommendation and hope that we can return someday!!

This is a beautiful hotel perfectly located for exploring Split on foot. We first booked for last year using a non-refundable prepaid reservation (which we never do!). When we had to cancel due to COVID, we thought we had lost our money but the hotel (Margarita!) could not have been more helpful or accommodating, happily providing a voucher for the full prepaid amount for future use. When we were able to travel this year, we were so excited to rebook! The hotel is as lovely as we expected and the service lived up to our expectations from our initial encounter. Yes, it is in a pedestrian zone but they are clear about that and meet you/carry your bags in and out. You do have to climb the first set of stairs but thereafter it is your choice between stairs and elevator. Rooms are beautiful and how great to be in the middle of everything! Delicious, several course breakfast can be taken in dining room or delivered to your room for no extra charge. Like someone else said, almost too pretty to eat and certainly enough to carry you until dinner! Staff, especially Adriana, anticipated and handled everything from bags to breakfast to tour and dinner recommendations/reservations (even for the next legs of our trip!). Hotel has a cute outside cafe/bar on square that is great for people watching. Truly first rate all around….everything is a 5 on a 1-5 scale, except service, which is a 10!!!! Hope I get to return to Split one day and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Cannot recommend too highly!

We stayed two nights in August and loved it. The hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian area so coordinate with the hotel ahead of time for parking and they'll meet you with a golf cart and take you to the property.

Our room was beautiful with the ancient stone of the exterior walls, modern comforts and overlooked one of the main squares in the Diocletion's Palace area. Everything in the room worked, other than our own inability to keep water inside European showers. Despite facing a very busy square with lots of foot traffic and outside dining the blackout shades and double paned windows make the room silent and dark for some really good sleep.

The staff were even better than the rooms. Andre (sp) and everyone who worked there were super fun and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations, laundry, breakfast (cooked to order since COVID ended their buffet) and transport to and from the parking spots.

We've done a lot of nights in hotels all over the world and this was one of our favorite stays. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Split!

I have rarely stayed at a hotel with such wonderful front desk concierge staff. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, funny, and all ensured that everything was provided to us to make our stay easy and enjoyable.

Room was comfortable, view impeccable and while it is in a busy area, the sound was pretty quiet at night. Curtains could easily be drawn and they kept most light out so one could sleep in easily if needed. Breakfast was easily accessible, plentiful, and wonderful quality.

We had an early flight out and they even offered a to-go bag of fruit, yogurt, to-go coffee and other things to make the early trip as pleasant as possible .

Overall the location could not have been more ideal and all recommendations by staff here were fantastic. We are eager to return, for a longer, pleasure trip next time and would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful property with quaintly decorated rooms and modern bathrooms. Daily housekeeping was amazing and very appreciated. Amenities include an elevator to the upper floors and a ‘chill room’ that we used to gather and visit with other members of our group (plus staff was happy to provide wine glasses and water).
Breakfast was wonderful—lots of choices including eggs to order and absolutely beautiful fruit platters each morning. Rooms were equipped with a kettle for coffee/tea making, but staff also said we were welcome to come to the dining room early to get coffee or call down and they’d bring it to our room.
Hotel staff were absolutely exceptional and gave us a very helpful list of restaurant recommendations. They also gave us accurate directions to the area where we needed to park, met us there, directed us into the parking spot, and then carried all of our luggage to the hotel. Talk about exceptional service! The parking does cost an extra fee, but was well worth the money.
The hotel location in the historic area of Split is charming with lots of shopping and cafes nearby, very walkable. And again the hotel staff was full of energy and personality (Andy!)—we really enjoyed meeting everyone we encountered. Also, nice touch to have wash cloths in the bathroom as many hotels in Europe don’t provide them.

The hotel met us at our parking space with a golf cart to transport us inside the walls of this ancient city. The hotel is on the main square. They sent a team of porters to unload our luggage as we are traveling with an infant. The staff are amazing. They can’t do enough for you. They make you feel as if the quality of your stay is really important to them. They arranged for our ferry and called up to the room to make sure we were packed and ready to go. They eve typed in the ferry address into our phone for gps. The rooms are charming. Great AC and mostly soundproof windows. The room service was delicious and the homemade items foe breakfast were as well.

We stayed for 2 separate nights after arriving and before leaving on overnight car ferries. The location is brilliant: in a square right in the centre of the old town.

The staff were consistently courteous, actively helpful and amusing. They parked our car outside the pedestrianised centre and took the bags on an electric buggy.

We arrived very early off the ferry but offered us breakfast before keeping all our bags until the room was ready in the afternoon . Ditto for our late checkout on return.

The rooms had character and everything worked. Overall rooms fine but the service was great.

Do you have an elevator? Do you offer airport transportation?
Answer from Jen M

The Hotel provided a free transfer. We arrived via ferry and were picked up at the dock (via a golf cart since motor vehicles are not allowed in the Old town centre) and taken to the hotel. They provided the same transfer back to the ferry when it was time to leave. You may want to contact the hotel about this.

I don’t believe the hotel advertised that but we (LGBT couple) certainly showed no issues of this fact. We were very pleased with the property and the services offered. You cant beat the location 👌🏻

Is there any parking nearby available? Thanks. Renato
Split, Croatia11 contributions
Dear Renato, The hotel is located on the main square in the old town, which is a pedestrian zone under the protection of UNESCO as the World Heritage Site. Direct access by car is not possible. Parking is available at location nearby but it needs to be reserved and confirmed at least 24 hours prior to the arrival. The hotel provides assistance on arrival and departure. We hope this helps.
