Hotel President is an old hotel that is situated just next to old city. In fact, it's position is great. It is not in the middle of everything, but some 3 minutes from it. By foot you will reach National theatre in just 4-5 minutes, Marmont street in 5 minutes. So, this is advantage, and i would choose it only...

I liked this hotel for it being so central to everything. But for a four star hotel, i expected much more. Its very outdated and old fashioned. The rooms are tiny and the bathrooms even tinier. You can hear everything happening in the room next to you, and the aircons were not working. For the amount of money we paid...

Booked a room here since our departure to the airport was six hours after checking out from our cruise. We were quoted 60 euros for one room for 4 people for a 9 hour stay- no overnight or breakfast-on arrival we were told that we had been misquoted and the room price was 95 euros. We objected and were offered...

This was the second hotel, on our tour of southern Croatia. The group was to have stayed at the Hotel Katarina, in Split, however we were told that there had been a last minute change to the itinerary and that we was to stay at the Hotel President instead. The President is in a central location in Split where it...

Hotel within waking distance of City Centre. Room okay. Evening meal awful. On an Archers tour. We had a set meal would not recommend. Breakfast was no better. If staying here would suggest room only as there were a lot of places to have breakfast and evening meal. Will definitely visit Split again what a super place. Would not be...

The hotel is located near the center of the city and within walking distance of all the major sights When entering the hotel it looks very grand and when reaching the accommodation area new carpets had been layed which gives the hotel a feeling of being looked after It is all change when you enter the bedroom and found a...

Hotel is located walking distance to the square, shopping, and local restaurants. Staff if very friendly and our room was great. Large at more than 1000 square feet. Great air conditioning units. Very clean. A few small quirks but nothing that would stop us from visiting again in the future: - main hotel elevator doors get stuck and won't close...

Great for a short stay as it is a little way out of Split ok for us as we were on a coach trip, the area round the hotel and the village was beautiful with lot of small streams. as we were only there for 2 nights did not see much of the surrounding area

Stayed here with a tour group. If you have to stay here because you're on a tour do yourself a favour and eat out!! The dinner provided was awful, water was more expensive than wine. And breakfast was ordinary and the coffee was hideous. The rooms look nice, but scratch the surface and it falls apart. One of our group...
