We stayed for a short break in Split and we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and the modern conversion of the building with the roman remains conserved was up to the highest standard. The location could not be more central. Absolutely ideal.

We stayed in the Villa rather than the main hotel. However, we did have breakfast in the main hotel. Both are tiny and in the heart of the old city. Both are lovely. Our room was very comfortable and quiet at night. The breakfast was very nice with a choice of eggs cooked to order as well as a lovely...

Nice room, small but comfortable, right in the palace. Staff very helpful and good-natured. Only caveat -- the "annex" building is rather far away, not in the palace, a long walk for breakfast. Fortunately, after the first night they were able to move us to the main building.

Booked this hotel through Orbitz but we did not realise we had booked in the annexe which was quite a way from the main hotel. New were collected by the hotel in lovely Mercedes and dropped at the main car park next to the harbour. From there we were met by a member of staff who led us to our...

Upon arriving in Split, my husband and I went to the main hotel by accident even though we were booked into the annex. They were very hospitable and helped us with our bags to our location. Although the location is not as good as the main hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was still fantastic. The annex,...

I had three lovely nights in the Villa Dobric Annex of the Vestibul Palace Hotel - but took breakfast a couple of time in the parent hotel built within the walls of Emperor Diocletian's palace. Both places sympathetically created using modern techniques but retaining centuries-old walls and stone work. Excellent staff, comfortable room, superb location, excellent breakfast at Vestibul Palace

What a fantastic hotel - beautifully finished and brilliantly woven into the fabric of the palace itself - I have never stayed in such an old building. Attentive staff, fantastic food in the courtyard and beautifully appointed rooms. Its rare to find such a perfect boutique hotel.

We stayed in the annex building. Great location right near Diocletian's Palace. The staff were friendly and helpful. The concierge recommended a guide that absolutely made our day and the bellman transferred us and our luggage to the ferry in a golf cart. The breakfasts at both the main hotel and the annex were fresh and our room was comfortable.
