On arrival we felt a bit unsure due to surrounding area of hotel not very appealing on the eye. HOWEVER the hotel is fantastic, staff are really friendly and cater to your every need. Old town is around 15 mins walk from hotel and beaches are accessible either by walking or Uber.
Food at hotel I would say is average, some dishes better than others. Mini bar stocked in room daily and prices of beverages not too bad. Room was cleaned with fresh towels everyday and housekeeping staff were also very friendly and polite.
We had a double room with balcony which was decorated beautifully, aircon was brilliant.
Shower and bathroom was great, shower had good pressure.
Wifi in hotel is not very strong, it would not allow us to connect the tv in room to open Netflix app and has to hotspot from mobile data to use this.
On one of our last days, we noticed a drain odour on entering our room, spoke to a member of staff and within 10 mins there was a housekeeper, manger and handyman at our door and resolved issue immediately without any fuss and apologised.
Pool area is nice and lots of sun beds to choose where to lay. The only thing I would say could be improved was the cleanliness of the hot tubs, the water was musky at times and water line on edge of tub appeared grubby.
Overall we had a lovely holiday here and would definitely stay again. Thank you to all the hardworking staff at Art Hotel Split.

Staff were friendly and helpful there was a nice calm atmosphere and the hotel was clean.
I stayed in Art Hotel Split Croatia for 5 nights from Thursday 9th September 2021 to Tuesday 14th September 2021. Breakfast was a good buffet tables clean with a nice open air balcony seating area and a variety of foods and drink.
Staff were helpful. The Front Office Staff Antonia was very helpful answering questions about the hotel, excursions, where to go, what to do in Split, how to get there and arranging my shared Airport Shuttle back to Split Airport and even refunded on the shared cost when other guests joined the Airport Shuttle which was very honest and appreciated. The young Barman I am sorry I do not recall his name was polite and happy to chat about sports and helpful and between him and the Chef served up a nice evening seafood dinner when I decided to eat in the hotel on Sunday evening. Art Hotel is centrally located at the back of the old town on the edge of the residential and commercial area. The old town and seafront promenade is a 15 to 20 minute walk depending on how quick you walk. The roof top pool was nice although small was all I needed to cool off after sitting on the sun loungers and the view over the city towards the sea and hills is good from the roof.
Two single beds put together to make a double bed was not great although I slept okay. The walkway between the desk with chair and bed is tight getting to the balcony.
Overall I was made to feel welcome and the hotel was clean, relaxed, the Staff were polite and felt like I was on holiday. I recommend this hotel and I hope to visit Split again and will look at staying at Art Hotel.
I wish the Staff at Art Hotel good luck for the future.

On arrival we needed to change rooms as 2 of our party had mobility issues, this was handled in a friendly professional manner by Tomi (? Spelling). The rooms were clean and the top floor is newly built. Helpful young man Brana - he will go far, brought us beer and snacks, The reception team went out of their way to offer helpful advice, booking taxis and tours and preparing a breakfast box on our early departure morning. Thank you to Antonia, Nela and our young blonde lady this morning.. All staff said good morning when passing. Good breakfasts and nice to have a rooftop terrace with pool. Easy walk into town (15 minutes) but taxi necessary for the less mobile.

Booked this hotel with high expectations…however, do not be fooled!! The hotel pictures are fake and in reality the pool and hotel rooms are both extremely small and not how they look online. Location was awful…yes I understand that this may only be a 15 minute walk to the old town, however the walk involves walking in a very run down area that wouldn’t be appealing or prove safe for tourists. In addition to this, from our experience the reception staff in this hotel were very abrupt and unprofessional. Food and breakfast was also awful. The room which the buffet breakfast was stored was the temperature of a sauna, which is extremely unsafe considering cold meats etc are stored in this high temperature. The milk for the cereal was warm and eggs were extremely greasy. There are definitely better options in the Split area that are more cost efficient, realistic and a true reflection of photos. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were 3 friends staying for 5 nights at Art hotel. The hotel reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a nice triple room, with mini bar, large bathroom, safe, balcony. Very comfortable beds and pillows.
The rooftop pool area was fabulous - lovely views from up there.
Breakfast was great, plenty of choice for everyone, gluten free and vegan options too. It was nice to sit outside to eat.
The location is around 15 min walk from the old town and around 35 min walk to the nearest beach. The old town is beautiful, lots of history from Roman times.
Special mention to Dubravka in the bar/restaurant. She was so friendly towards us and provided us with some snacks when we arrived late on the first night after the restaurant had closed. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

I stayed here twice this month. It is a great facility with clean rooms and a nice king size bed. The roof top infinity pool is a great place to relax or gather with friends. Breakfast had a vast variety of items to chose from, all tasting fresh. The lobby bar is a great place to meet for coffee or cocktails. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Riva. If driving they have parking!!! So important. It was easy to get to and from the main roads. If driving it is at the best location to easily access all the main sections of Split.
The staff makes this an amazing experience. When I came back and went to breakfast I was greeted with “welcome back. So glad to see you again, your favorite spot is available”. I tried my first aperol spritz here and it was amazing (every other one I tried in other places were disappointing after this one). The staff knew my room number and my name early and often. They made you feel welcome and important.
I will be returning several times this year and next for business and some for fun. I will be making this my favorite hotel when I am in Split.

The hotel room was clean, modern and well equipped with plenty of charge points, toiletries and a hairdryer. The bathrooms have a bath/shower, although you can’t use the bath; we asked for a plug and we’re told no due to incidents with previous guests. Our room faced the sea, with a balcony, although the sea is pretty far away. The pool area was much better than expected with plenty of beds, towels provided and the pool was a perfect temperature. Breakfast was good, plenty of options available and the staff were friendly, particularly Frase. Check in and check out was easy and the staff were helpful when we needed advice. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre and there are shops and a bus station 5 mins away.

This hotel was a great find, about a 20 minute walk from the old town, (although uphill) 2 minutes from the bus stop for those who don’t want to walk. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. There was a good selection of freshly cooked food for breakfast. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The rooftop pool was a welcome relief from the heat. Our only niggle was that the rooftop bar closed at 8, we would have liked to enjoy a drink outside in the evening without the walk back from town after.

Great location with free parking. Easy walk to the old town centre (15 minutes) and a comfortable room with well equipped bathroom. The suites on the 5th floor give easy access to the pool area and have great views over the city- definitely recommended. Nice breakfast buffet with hot and cold options.

We had a nice stay in Split at Art Hotel. Our room was in the attached 3 Star building. The bed and bathroom was fully Good.
And the straff had a friendly and helpful attitude.
It was about 15-20 min walk to the old town / centrum.
We ordered a AirPort taxi from the hotel on the departure day. Fixed price 50 euro
