The apartment was in an excellent location on the edge of the old town, a short distance from the prom - very handy for restaurants and the Marjan Peninsula, popular with walkers, joggers and cyclists. It was cosy and had a large, comfy bed, fridge, tv and wifi, compact en suite shower room, plus a balcony which you reached by... More

Pleasant accommodation in an older building, and in a near-perfect location close to, but safely outside the old town; and with a parking garage a short distance away. Room was nicely furnished, there was a balcony outside the door, and it remained quiet at night. The bathroom was pretty simple, however, with a very small shower and no soap or... More

Great location for exploring Split. Over restaurant. Being off season noise not bad but if windows open, noise and smoke could be a problem. Very nice modern room with old world look. Reception extremely helpful and accommodating. Walk from bus/ ferry a little far but once found an easy walk to promenade, palace and other sites. Comfortable sitting area, kitchen... More

This was a perfect place to explore Split. It is just outside the old town and easy to reach arriving in town, but in a pedestrian alley. Parking is nearby but a little tricky. The owner/manager is extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was small but adequate, and it was lovely, with exposed stone walls and beams, and simple detail.... More

Just a short walk up from the harbour area on a pedestrian street. Everything you need is close by, plenty of good restaurants. The staff were helpful and we were appreciative that they waited for us until 9pm as our flight was late arriving. Room is comfortable and clean with a kitchenette. The market around the corner is open until... More

A very centrally located base in Split . Good , basic accommodation. Room needed a few simple tweaks , like a full length mirror and an umbrella ,for shade on the little balcony. Pleasant and helpful staff.

The hotel was easy to find (don't underestimate this in old split) and was very charming. Old stone work was visible in our room, yet the rooms had been modernized to a very high standard. 1 block back from the main water front, easy walk (with cases) from the bus station. Rooms were not large, but were a good size... More

We really liked Villa Matejuska! Andrea was terrific! So nice and so helpful. She walked down to meet us and helped us with our luggage. We loved the location (close to the harbor and a short walk to the old town center) and were lucky enough to get in for dinner at the restaurant downstairs (highly rated, delicious, and always... Stayed 3 nights. One bed apartment. Comfortable, nice balcony area and roof terrace.Split is amazing. Easy walk to the harbour to get the sea plane to Pula. Put a towel on bathroom floor, it's slippy. 2 min walk to old town. Split changed a lot since stayed there 10 years ago, love it, can get to islands easily, we went... More

We stayed one night on the first floor. The place is clean, air conditioned with friendly staff. The entrance smelled very strongly of food from the very popular restaurant below but the room itself was quiet and did not smell of food. The furnishings were a bit worn and old school. The bed was okay. Very close to the city... More
