The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the town in one direction and 10 minutes from the beach the other way. Villa Diana is a wonderful oasis in a very busy town. It even has a very green front garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would stay again in a heartbeat. The room we had was on the front of the hotel, and was a good size, as was the bathroom. Great air con. The windows were double glazed and kept the traffic noise out. There was plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable. The hotel supplied drinking water on tap next to the reception and towels were also readily available for residents to use on the beach. This was a nice touch. The proprietor Mate and the team couldn’t do enough to assist us, from taking our bags up to our room, giving us tips on where to visit and really nice guys to chat with. The on-site restaurant had a great selection of food at reasonable prices, we ate there one night and enjoyed it very much. Breakfast is a reasonable selection of hot and cold. Parking is a nightmare in Split. We paid the hotel 20euros a night to allocated parking 2 minutes walk away. This must arranged before you arrive, it is worth every penny believe me! This is real gem of a hotel!

Stayed only one night at Hotel Villa Diana, wished we could have stayed longer. Located a 5 - 10 minute walk from the old town and bus station, Hotel Villa Diana offers very clean rooms, excellent customer service and is perfectly located to see the sites of Split. Breakfast is by way of a buffet offering hot and cold choices, breads, cheeses, cold meats and pastries. The room was spotlessly clean, a bit dated, but comfortable. During our stay I needed several documents printed, no problem and at no extra cost. I highly recommend Hotel Villa Diana

I wish there were more stars I could give Hotel Villa Diana. The reviewing system won't let me change my rating to 5 but they deserve a clear 10. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and the beauty of the palace is staggering. The staff are some of the most kindhearted people we've ever encountered, always making sure that our needs were met

Pros: Staff, location and shower were good. Cons: Room was small, had poor soundproofing (traffic, construction, people talking), intermittent wifi with weak security, poor breakfast. The hotel was expensive for what you got so I don't recommend it.

It's in a very good location, close to a supermarket, beach, old town, harbour,... The room was nice, clean and spacious, though the shower was a little bit odd and the water flooded everywhere. It was very nice and modern though which was nice. It's next to a street but we couldn't hear any noise from the cars. The staff were very nice and friendly and the breakfast was also good. We could choose if we wanted scrambled or fried eggs with the breakfast buffet and the eggs have been made brilliantly. I loved our stay there.

Hotel Villa Diana is one of those hotels that restores your faith in the system after you have had travel challenges. We arrived by ferry, my wife on crutches only to be taken advantage of by a Croatian taxi driver(another story - in Split, always use Uber!). HVD could not do enough for us - they went out of their way rto help my wife, not to forget good rooms, great bathrooms enjoyable breakfast. They deserve to be rewarded with custom.

My mother, sister and I stayed in split for 4 nights, we ended up eating in the restaurant of hotel villa Diana three times on our trip. We loved it and the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The food is simple but definitely tasty and worth the money. Although we didn’t have a room to stay in the hotel, next time in split I would definitely consider it as an option.

Just returned from a lovely long weekend to this friendly family run hotel with a personal touch, it is within walking distance of the beach one way and town the other, very informative and attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms are spotlessly clean and roomy with air conditioning. Highly recommend a stay here!

Stayed here for a week with our teenage boys. Great hotel in centre of town. Family run. Rooms are simple but comfy and spotless. Staff helpful. Breakfast good with selection of cold and hot food.Would definitely return.

This small hotel is perfectly located close to promenade and the old town. We enjoyed every moment since our arrival, excellent service, friendly and very helpful staff, extremely clean rooms and very tasty food in the restaurant downstairs. Will recommend to everybody, value for money and your best choice in Split! Many thanks to the staff and keep on going!
