Very nice accommodation, perfectly located near Riva Promenade, everything is very easy to get to and walk to ! Lots of restaurants, sight seeing, tours, buses, shopping, all on your door step! The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and very nice. Very easy to book, I communicated with them via what’s app and was super easy, from check-in to check out. Great place to stay and highly recommended

Fantastic location right in the old town. The owner was super friendly and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were very clean and spacious and exactly what we were looking for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Split and would recommend the Garden Apartment Hotel to stay at. Thank you once again.

Our room was extremely dirty and there were bugs crawling everywhere. First off, the host walked us in and went over everything in 2 minutes and left. He did not take our ID to register us as guests which we know that hosts are supposed to do that as it's part of the law in Croatia, however, we didn't even stay as we looked for a new apartment to rent right away and left about an hour after checking in. There was a blood splatter on our cupboard door from a bug, soap scum left on the shower doors, toothpaste (we think) on the bathroom wall by light fixture, spiderwebs all over the rooms and spiders, centipedes and huge black beetle or roach crawling on walls, used bathing suit bottom left in cupboard, microwave door and handle was dirty, room key had dirt and scum all.stuck in the key, the floor was dirty - couldn't even take our shoes off, stains on the bedding and holes in the bedsheet. Definitely don't waste your money to stay here and I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is the first time I have ever had to check right back out of a place because of cleanliness and how disgusting our room was. Thanks, Amanda.

This isn't a "typical" hotel but a gated residential complex with several self catered units located near the Riva. The location is perfect for Split - very close to the historic centre and Diocletian Palace with free street parking nearby. The hosts are friendly and helpful and assisted us with parking and baggage on arrival - we met near the Restaurant Fife and were navigated personally after. I think the studio we had originally booked wasnt available, so we were given a very large aoartment for 3 with its own separate living, dining and bedroom - very spacious and comfortable. Accepts payments in cash - euro or kuna.

We had a great apartment for our stay. It had a private garden just outside of our door, You could tell it had just been remodeled and was very comfortable. The location is fantastic, secured, and the pricing was very affordable.

Very nice, well maintained apartment with all necessary equipment. Quiet, own peace. Great location within walking distance of Riva. There is a grocery store with a pretty good selection nearby. On arrival we were well advised on the most important things.

A basic for a hotel is surely that it has signage outside, to direct guests and someone staffing a reception. This has neither and a generally odd feel throughout. We spent 15 minutes looking for it in the street outside (not fun in the heat, with kids and all our luggage after walking from the airport bus drop off at the other end of the harbour). We finally tried the intercom for No 22. Rather than connecting to a front desk, I now know this goes through to a cell phone. In our case the person who answered the phone had limited English, so while we expected to be buzzed through and walk up to find someone who would help get us to our room, we went through the door to find just a series of doors (each with its own intercom) off a gravel path, there was no one around, no reception and no clear instruction as to what we should do. We waited five minutes, we tried the entry intercom again ‘coming, coming’ was the response, waited again...finally the guy who’d originally let us in showed up and took us to an apartment. The rooms were ok, the bathroom and linens were clean, but sills were dirty and the room generally has an unloved air. Location is great but another time I’d just pay less and stay a bit further out. This place is basic, hard to find, hard to access by car/taxi (especially from the bus station) and very expensive for what it is. If you book on air BnB you probably find what you expect. I booked on a hotel website and didn’t.

We were driving when we arrived, and called Nikola the owner, who arrived a few minutes later, hopped in our car, and guided us to free street parking up the hill from the hotel. I'll admit, when we were shown to our apartment, my first thought was "hey, this isn't the little cottage I had booked." But it actually looked more spacious, and the air conditioning was humming nicely on a hot day, so I ran with it. No complaints. Our stay on the 2nd floor apartment was peaceful and quiet, the beds were comfortable, so we got good sleep for our two-night stay. Nikola was a fun host, and provided excellent restaurant recommendations, including the best meal of our trip at a Michelin starred seafood restaurant close to the hotel. Location is definitely a highlight here - you're peacefully located away from the bustle and crowds of Split, yet just a short walk away when you want to immerse. And you are literally steps from the lane leading up Marjan Hill with spectacular views over the city. This place is not fancy, but it's clean and pleasant, has a fun host, and the location is ideal - I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our apartment was in the garden, had all the facilities we needed, rooms were clean and tidy, good air conditioning and a great patio area with seating and over head grape vines. Great location for exploring historic split. Nearby shops and restaurants, staff on hand to greet us on arrival. We booked 3 apartments 2 in the garden and 1 in main apartment block. Recommend garden apartments because they have really nice outside shaded spaces to relax. We were a group of 7 visiting split for my 40th birthday celebrations. This would be great for groups or couples

First impressions were not good as all you see is a closed metal door on the street, so not very welcoming. However, you are given a key to use to enter into a main area of what I think is about 6-8 serviced apartments. Our apartment was basic but nice, clean and confortable. Our host was very nice and informative. Would recommend a stay here
