Nice hotel, 18-20 min walk from old town. Rooms are well equipped with teapot, but internet was very weak on the room. Very good breakfast. Nice small gym with sauna, which is free off charge. Also, there is shopping mall right behind hotel. We enjoyed our stay, but it wold be nice, if we could stay closer to old town.
Hotel near Joker shopping center in Split. The room was spacious with all bath amenities, 36m2. Breakfast and pool where OK, food at breakfast was fresh. The waiter from the restaurant does’t know the difference between grill and breaded chicken breast. Braided was not on the menu so we asked if it can be arranged - but the grill one arrived. When we ordered the waiter assured us that there is no problem and we can have the breaded one, no explanation from him when the meal arrived. When confronted he said it is the same for him. This I did not expect from 5* hotel, if not possible we would have ordered something else or went somewhere else - communication is the problem - not the wrong kind of meat. Also another issue during the stay - I was in the bathroom!!! finishing my shower and the cleaning staff was trying to enter the room - hear the outside click- my card was in the card holder on the wall so the staff should know and avoid this delicate situations.…
Highly recommend this hotel. We arrived late from the airport to a lovely welcome from 2 staff members who handled our check in swiftly and efficiently. Our rooms were spacious and we were very grateful for a bowl of fruit, water and a hand written welcome note. Lots of tolietteries, bath robes, slippers etc. The super king size bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was self serve with a huge selection of hot and cold food. Something for everyone, very fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, cold meats, juices, tea, coffee, the list is endless. The spa and pool are lovely. I enjoyed a super massage from Angelica. I'd highly recommend this after a long day sightseeing. We will return.
Went to our new hotel, Hotel Atrium. We were originally given a room on the 5th floor, but it had a high sided tub/shower so my spouse went to the front desk and asked for another room. Our new room was handicap accessible and the shower walls only came to waist high. Our bedroom was large with a table and two chairs in addition to a nice desk, floor lamp and two electrical outlets. The bedding was nice and the pillows fluffy. Only one luggage rack so I had to put my bag on the round table. There was a refrigerator and in-room safe. Room came with an electric pot for coffee or tea water. As mentioned, the bathroom was handicap accessible and we were provided with containers of body soap, shampoo and body lotion.
If this hotel was slightly nearer the old town, it World get 5. Friendly staff, big rooms, indoor pool, fitness centre, great buffet breakfast. This is 1 from the old town, but the walk is easy enough (except for the summer heat).
This hotel has terrible customer service. Not very accommodating and refuses to re-instate mistaken cancellation by virtual agent. Contacted this hotel numerous times and each time did not obtain a satisfactory service.
Don’t be fooled by the “5 stars” marketing. Nothing about the hotel is 5 stars, but their bad customer service. Do not waste your money at this hotel. 1. When we had our first breakfast at the hotel at 8:30am. There was no sight of host/hostess/attendant at the front host stand to check you in because they were all busy in the back corner where the bar area is chitchatting and lounging around having a great time. We then approached them to see if we can get a table, they just stared at us and gave a very indifferent response telling us to sit wherever, and carried on with their conversations. It was such a bizarre experience, let alone with the lack of dining service, literally anyone who isn’t a hotel guest can basically just walk in and sit themselves down for a free meal at this point. 2. The breakfast buffet, nothing was warm from the hot food section, the coffee tasted really weird, the fruits section and some other section were running low and no one refilled anything. We thought maybe it was just maybe an off day for the F&B team, but no, the rest of the next two mornings as well. The breakfast buffet experience were consistently bad throughout with the exact same issues. 3. On the 2nd day when we returned to our room, we noticed right the way the AC had stopped working (which the first night it made a lot of weird noises). We notified the staff, she said she will send the technician (which never came) and I had to go downstairs to remind them again. When he finally arrived which took 40 mins, he didn’t even do anything but holding a screwdriver and just put his left hand up to feel the air. He then tried to fool us by saying the AC is working normal. But who are you kidding it was only blowing hot air, and the digital indicator even has an error message flashing. We then requested a room change, it was challenging, as if the one of the receptionists that was on duty was just being difficult. This is nothing I have experienced, they took it as if I was lying that the room’s AC is not working. After technician’s confirmation that is not working she had us waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes. It would have been nice to be offered even a glass of cold water or something, as they can clearly see the weather that day was at 36°C and we had came back to the hotel from a beach day where we both are badly burnt by the sun. Overall, just an unpleasant stay. Definitely would not recommend the hotel, especially it’s marketed as 5 stars, if I really have to say, it’s more like a 3.5 with how unfriendly/crappy/lack of customer service skills of the staffs are, and the F&B were just bad icing on a bad cake. The location of the hotel is just ok, as it’s a 20 mins walk from the busy area Riva that’s about it.…
The Atrium hotel is PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! We were a family of 4 with two wonderful interconnecting king size rooms. The bedrooms are spacious with huge bathrooms, large wardrobes, and lovely linen on comfy beds. The staff were wonderful. Really helped us out and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was beautifully presented and plentiful with lots of choice for the whole family. The location is great and we enjoyed our walk every day into the historical centre , even venturing further to Kasjuni beach on recommendation by the hotel. The spa area was really peaceful and our boys enjoyed the pool with bubble jets. What a great stay and we would personally like to thank you for your welcome and your help whilst we were with you. We would love to stay again when we are next in Split! Ciao for now…
Lovely hotel with large rooms. About 20mins walking into centre of Split. At back of hotel Joker mall if forgotten anything. Nice meals stayed two nights and vegetarian option was very good indeed. Friendly staff especially the bar and waiting staff. Tea and coffee making in room.
We stayed here as part of a tour group. We were pleasantly surprised by the huge room & bathroom. The shower had good water pressure. AC was a plus. It’s a 10-15 min straight shot walk to old town which was fine for us. One of the better big hotel breakfasts with a good variety of well executed options.
