Great hotel located in the old town on one of the major squares just outside the old palace complex & in walking distance to everything. Also close to dozens of restaurants & some of the best gelato places. There is a supermarket in the next block but hard to spot. The hotel is located in heritage listed pink building and there are three boutique hotels in the one building!! The rooms aren’t large although I had a king size room. Beautifully furnished with nice lighting. King size bed made up of two twins. I dislike the European idea of having to single separate duvets instead of one full size. The bathroom had a large walk in shower & the bathroom amenities are all top quality. Breakfast was included served in their lovely restaurant next door. There are hundreds of TV channels from across Europe. The challenge is to find the stations you want to see!! The free wifi is ok & fast enough to stream on your devices. The staff are helpful and attentive. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

This is our second trip to Split and the Piazza Heritage Hotel is the perfect spot to experience this amazing city. The location is great ( overlooking the most popular square in the old city ), and the hotel itself is immaculate. All of the staff are amazing. Marin, Marija & Mira work diligently to make your experience memorable. It was such a treat to have Marin greet us at the port !

Can you imagine three hotels in one house built in the early 1900s? Two families own these three hotels in a home built on the Piazza (or People's Square), a gathering place for centuries now filled with restaurants and retail and a 2-minute walk to Split's waterfront. This is the perfect location for a stay in Split. The Piazza Heritage rates five stars. The staff is attentive and anticipates their guests' needs. For instance, they arranged airport transfers, restaurant reservations and a private guide named Jakov who presented the history and architecture of his hometown in a fascinating 90-minute walking tour. Our room, on the recently-renovated second floor of the hotel overlooked the Piazza from a beautiful balcony. It was large, with a comfortable seating area, large bathroom with double sinks and a very comfortable bed. I'm picky when it comes to renovations and I was impressed with the exceptional quality of the workmanship. The floors, walls, light switches, plumbing fixtures, etc. were perfectly finished. The breakfast which is included in the rate was extensive and prepared by a lady who presented food as an art.

Wonderful location with superb staff. Breakfast was included and delicious... the omelets were maybe the best I've ever had! Located right in the heart of old Town, in view of the Palace and a mere 300 meters from the water and terrific restaurants. Truly a gem!

As a first time visitor to Split to attend an international football match, I chose this hotel as a central and comfortable base for my short stay. I arrived by train from Zagreb, which was, before nightfall spoilt the view, a spectacular trip, but one which fell behind schedule. I was delighted to receive a text message from the hotel checking on my arrival time and offering help (unneeded as it happens) with my luggage. The hotel is not immediately accessible by car. When I arrived the staff member on duty was helpfulness personified. My room on the first floor lacked only a spectacular view facing one of the narrow streets that make Split such a delight for the traveller. It’s facilities were all I needed and the housekeeping was perfect. The breakfast offering, included in the room rate, was very good and included cooked to order hot elements. On my departure, I had to catch an early bus, I told the reception the previous evening and was offered a packed breakfast, which was ready and waiting as I left. Every element of my stay worked perfectly - even the football was good.

The hotel has an excellent location in the old town, friendly staff and is well maintained. Very clean. A couple of minor tweaks would have made the room even better (hooks for clothes in the bathroom, socket for the kettle on the worktop). Excellent TV/movie selection available though the operating instructions need to be clearer. The hotel is like an aparthotel and doesn`t appear to have any communal areas. Breakfast is at the wine bar/restaurant next door. It is worth noting that the hotel offers an airport transfer for 65 euros (March 2023). This is possibly a bit over the going rate. Unaware that taxi fares are not regulated by law, we decided to do our own thing and got a taxi from a local company (Taxi 5 Split), who charged us 89 euros for the transfer. Perfectly legal but a total rip-off. So unless you know a local taxi firm you can trust or are using an app with fixed fares, it might be worth using the airport transfer.

Behind the nice pink facade is a charming hotel with an entrance from the side street. Staff are smiley and helpful they go the extra mile to accommodate clients needs be it by sending the golf cart to bring the luggage or by storing the luggage after the check out. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Very nice breakfast terrace/patio.

Perfectly situated in the center of oldtown. Just 5-10 minute walk to anywhere in oldtown. Palace, ferry terminal, restaurants, currency exchange all within minutes. Room was fantastic, clean, bright and spacious. Robes, slippers provided. Large bathroom. Would stay here again if we returned to Split. Breakfast in little restaurant attached to hotel was included and was freshly prepared egg dishes and small cold buffet items. Just enough to get you going for the day.

We booked this hotel last minute to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and it was absolutely perfect! We received a heartfelt warm welcome and we were upgraded to a room with a view of the main square. The room was stunning!! It was classic elegant luxury - spacious and sophisticated. I asked for a recommendation for a restaurant for my husband’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The hotel restaurant even gave my husband a little cake for his birthday - how wonderful! Breakfast was ideal for us - fresh fruit, breads and cooked eggs available every day. We couldn’t make breakfast one day because we were booked on a trip so the restaurant gave us a plentiful a delicious packed lunch to take with us, along with a takeaway coffee to start the day - perfection! The hotel is located on the main square so is ideally located to explore Split. It is a 10 minute walk to the port and main bus station and is less than 5 minutes from the Diocletian Palace. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops located around the hotel, all within easy walking distance. All of the staff (front of house, housekeeping and restaurant) were genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and polite - nothing was too much trouble! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - if you are going to Split this hotel is a must!
