Having stayed at the comfortable Dubrovnik Palace (a bus ride from the old city) on our tour, we wanted to have a few extra days at leisure, and be within the walls of this amazing old city. Through Rick Steve's book we discovered this place and booked well in advance. We had the upper room, which was clean and comfortable,...

We spent 3 nights here. Pero organized transfer from the airport which was very comfortable and the driver very informative. Pero met us at the Buza Gate and helped carry our bags to the room. He spent a great amount of time orienting us to the city, the activities and food. Two of his recommended restaurants are now our favorites...

We spent two nights at the Villa Ragusa and could not have been happier. I will not go into detail as all has been said in previous reviews. Other than to say if you coming in through the Buz gate is by far the easiest way to get to Villa Ragusa.

Ton's of nice things have been said about Villa Ragusa, and we agree.Liked being in old town, liked the old world steps associated with the house. While small, liked the downstairs room we had. But best of all we liked that Pero the owner hooked us up with Pepo[pepoklaic@yahoo.com] who gave us a spectacular tour of Montenegro. Included Bay of Kotor,...

We stayed in Room 2 as the top floor apartment was booked, even though I booked nine months before our trip. The room had everything you could need including a clothesline outside the window and a hairdryer, wine glasses and opener. The room is spotless and wonderfully located in the old town. The host is most welcoming even recommending a...

A Rick Steve recommendation. We found this appartment to be in a wonderful position just inside th Buza gate. Tthe shower proved to be a bit of a challenge at first until we realised you needed to sit in the tub for part of your shower. The view from the bedroom window was a delight both day and night. All...

This wonderful apartment is in the thick of old town-- so expect 70 slick and thick steps to get anywhere from the front door. When you arrive, avoid some steps with your luggage by entering the Buza gate. We weren't so fortunate and had to haul our luggage up the steps. Pero is the owner and is an absolute delight!...

My family of five just stayed at Villa Ragusa on Zudioska in Dubrovnik for 3 nights. We loved it! We had three rooms - 2 doubles and a triple. We were given a reduced rate for a three night stay. The sobe (apartment) is in Old Town, on a cute lane, at the top of the town. You must get...

Pros: location, cleanliness, views, host, comfort Cons: none that I can think of now Pero was a nice host, his property was very clean and very comfortable. The room we had offered a beautiful view of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic. Pero was also kind enough to meet us at the Buza gate and help bring our suitcases down to his...

Pero was a lovely host, checking in went smoothly, even though he doesn't live there. Very centrally located to the sights + the airport bus. The room and bed was very comfortable and given the hot nights and days I was super thrilled to have air conditioning! Like the others have mentioned, he welcomes you with a shot of home...
