While I was in Dubrovnik for two days, I stayed one night in this hostel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very basic. I would recommend this hostel for transfer travellers (solo, group of friends, large groups)

The hostel is up a narrow alleyway with steps, so you need to keep a look out or you could walk straight past the "street". The staff were friendly and always happy to help and give tips and advice, and they had plenty of knowledge which was great. My friend and I were staying in a four bed room, so...

We've been there for one-week holiday, the hostel was dirty, they only changed the rubbish bags in the rooms. Take a shower was a nightmare, you had to struggle to have hot water and when you got it didn't last for more then 10 minutes. The breakfast was really poor just with few drinks, some bread and few condiments. There...

The main difficulty is no air conditioning. If I hadn't been tied to this hostel because I was part of a tour I would not have chosen here. Absolutely exhausting heat inside, no space in the shared dorm I was in and the people in the floor above me slept out on corridor. We had to leave our door open...

First off, the place is kind of hard to find. But the place is pretty nice, with nice receptionists. If you're a member of youth hostel international, you can get a discount here. The bathrooms are extremely nice, and the common seating areas are nice as well. The hallways are nicely air conditioned. Unfortunately the rooms are not. There is...

Arrived at 02:00 and very tired. Receptionist has no idea what hes doing. Check-in took almost 30 min for 2 people. I can only imagine what would happen if 10 people would arrive. Weird hostel cards that costs extra money + need to make our own beds. I would reccomend this only if its the last option.

Terribly designed hostel, beds far too short for the most averaged sized humans. Room temperatures were beyond any safe level for a human being to sleep in. The majority of my tour group would either sleep in the hallways or else stay out most of the night to save the disgust of sleeping in a pool of your own sweat....

Nearly impossible to find, ages away from good nightlife & the port but only a 20 min walk to the old town. Keys had to be left in reception & were assigned per room, so the door was often left unlocked by other people. Facilities were grim and rooms looked very old, unclean and uncomfortable. Wouldn't stay here again and...

The Dubrovnik Youth Hostel is your typical HI hostel. Not a party scene, rather institutional but clean and well run. It does resemble a college dorm a bit. My 5 bed dorm room was a bit on the small side and the giant wardrobe really wasn't meant for storing bags and luggage. The bed was comfortable but I was the...
