We stayed here on the recommendations of other travelers here. Our beautiful room was on the 2nd floor but it was actually the third. The best part was when our driver took us there, the hotel sends help outside the castle walls to take the luggage. Quite a long walk for them! Service was wonderful. We were welcomed with lemonade which was funny because in the US lemonade is sweet, so when I drank bitter lemonade I was taken back. No worries. Our view was of the square and all the goings-on. It was very nice and of course, we loved walking around the old city at night. The front desk even directed us to a place where we could get PCR test for our next journey. Definitely recommend.
Staying within the walls of Dubrovnik is a great experience. We were met at the gate to the city by one of the hotel staff to help with the luggage and walk us the short distance to the hotel. Cars aren't allowed with the walls of the city, so its a fabulous way to arrive. The hotel room has is comfortably furnished with tall windows and little juliet balcony overlooking the square. I loved the bathroom with the slipper bath. A great choice, especially if its your first visit to Dubrovnik.
We stayed at the Pucic Palace for 4 nights in October. The location is superb - right in the middle of the Old City - but it was the staff and the quality of service that made the stay so memorable. Right from booking in months ago - and despite having to change the dates several times due to COVID - the staff couldn't do enough to help. They arranged taxi transfers to and from the airport, met us at the city gates to carry our luggage to the hotel and were always happy to chat and give advice about where to go, best places to visit etc. The breakfasts were superb, and our room was lovely with everything we could need. It was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Dubrovnik.
Room was excellent, we stayed at first at the room 16, top view, as we received the best attention from the staff, we decided to book 2 more nights at the Jr. Suite, all I can say it is the best hotel in dubrovnik. Location is great, you can find everything you want to see in dubrovnik with a 10 minute walk, Game Of Thrones fans, you have walk of shame just around the corner. Food at restaurant is delicious, poached eggs and avocado toast was my favorite dish. Staff is great, everyone speaks English, front desk people are so kind. If you go to Dubrovnik be sure to stay at the Pucic Palace.
This is far one of the best hotels I have ever been to. The staff is great, they are very professional and very helpful when you ask them for help of any type. The facilities and architecture are just lovely, the style of it matches with the barroque of the town and feels very charming. And last but not least, the location is just perfect, it is in the very center of the town, with one of the most iconic places right in the corner (the walk of shame stairs of game of thrones), and it is just 10 minutes-walk away from the old town port, where you usually take ferries and boats to go to different touristic destinations.
