Location is perfect and access to the apartment and to the centre of the old town is via a number of steps which may present problems for those with mobility difficulties. Anka and Darko, her son, were perfect hosts and checked daily on our needs and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and things to see. Free parking is very...

We enjoyed our stay at Rooms Vicelic and would recommend it to others. The rooms were small, but charming and clean, with lovely stone exterior walls and wooden shutters opening onto a narrow alley, close to Pile Gate and good restaurants. We appreciated the in-room air conditioning, as well as the small communal kitchen. Anka was very helpful in showing...

Located in the heart of the city walls this accomadation is perfect for exploring the cobbled side streets of Dubrovnik. Quiet literally the city is on your doorstep ,within a one minute walk. Darko, our superb host organised a taxi from the airport and met us to ensure we didn't become confused in the wonderful rabbit warren of streets which...

We stayed here for 2 nights and our experience couldn't have been better. The location was great, inside the walls and near many restaurants/cafes. Room was very spacious and contained everything we needed (including a fridge). Darko was such a help in recommending restaurants to us and helping us locate certain bars we had researched (Buza Cafe is a must!)....

If you want to stay within the old fortress walls of Dubrovnik, this is a great place to be. The entirety of the old city is within walking distance of your room. Darko picked us up at the bus station, which was very helpful since we did not have a car, and vehicles generally are not permitted in the old...

Anka, a charming larger than life character and Darko, her son, run Rooms Vicelic. Their style is friendly and relaxed and they literally cannot do enough to make your stay one to remember. Anka calls everyone, without exception "darlink" which is very endearing. Being in the old town this accommodation can only be reached by climbing 50+ stone stairs (quite...

Echoing much of what has been written before-- location is great, the owner is really nice and helped us find free parking, place is very clean. Our room is pretty small, but more than adequate. Room decor/ambiance is not great, but completely fine and clean. Bottom line: feel confident staying here, but suggest looking elsewhere if you are going to...

Rooms Vicelic is excellently located just meters form the main street and provided a great place to stay. The owners were brilliant and could not have been more helpful. This is not far from the main street and near lots of lovely restaurants. Bear in mind that all the steps in Dubrovnik will certainly work out your calf muscles! It was certianly a good base for a few days to explore the walled city and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Lonely Planet’s review does not do this...
