The best thing about this place is the staff who were wonderfully helpful. The rooms are trying to be upscale but unfortunately fall short on a few things, e.g. the curtains wouldn't draw across the window to keep out the morning light and there are stains on the carpet. Reasonably priced however so good value for those who want to...

We stayed just one night and found the staff welcoming and very helpful. I had mixed up my booking but they kindly rearranged it with no trouble ( or penalty). The room was spacious and comfortable. Dinner at restaurant was good and we received 10 percent discount as inhouse guests. Breakfast was adequate. We slept well. Location very close to...

We only had one night here but feel strongly enough to recommend this to other travellers . The staff are excellent, more worthy of five stars, such was is the standard of their customer service. The bed is very comfortable and the shower excellent. Good layout for both. Extremely clean and with nice touches of modern art to add personality. Of...

Literally 2 min from the Arena, across from the Port and on the fringe of the Old City the Amfiteaar's location is unbeatable. The small hotel's recent update generally works well - great colours, clean modern room a bit modest but quite comfortable. The attached restaurant offered an excellent dinner but the breakfast needs improvement. The true value in the...

Excellent food, super location, comfortable room The best part was warm hospitality - at the reception and in the restaurant. The room can be more or less comfortable, but professionalism and warm welcome are irreplaceable and stays as an impression

Nice hotel close to center of Pula. Rooms are clean and food in hotel restaurant is good. Hotel service is on point but sometimes in room there was weird smell. Rooms are renovated but stil not in best condition. Walls were dirty and some furniture little bit damaged. Hotel is next to beautiful Amphitheater (most popular culture spot in Pula).

As noted in other reviews, the location is excellent. Very close to the Arena and a short walk into the centre of Pula. Thankfully, this didn't mean lots of noise at night, so sleep was undisturbed. The hotel itself needs some attention. It is looking a little careworn due to natural wear and tear but the dying plants and the...

Stayed here for a few nights on our 2 week tour of Croatia. Was looking forward to our last hotel/apartment before heading for home but was disappointed as it was the worst of the 5 places we stayed at. We were given a room at the back which had small windows, dingy modern décor and was overlooked by a large...

Popped into to have an after dinner coffee & brandy at this hotel just before concert at the amphitheatre...all very nice until the bill arrived...£30 + ( 330kn) for a double brandy!! I'm used to London prices but this was disgraceful. Really disappointed they rip off tourists in this fashion. Avoid.
