Detailed Reviews
Lovely, quiet hotel, with exceptional, friendly restaurant staff & one particularly welcoming lady on reception when we arrived. Hotel very minimalist, clean & very relaxed feel. Owners very charming. À la carte breakfast really delicious & choice perfect. Small but very refreshing pool. Perfect location to explore Zadar, 3 min walk Kolvare beach, diving board & pool, 15 mins to Land Gate, Fõsa & the old town. Recommend Kuzina Grill restaurant right behind the hotel for good food, reasonably priced, if don't want to venture far after a long day out. And Karma, at higher end price wise, but worth it, about 10 mins walk on sea front for something a bit more special & excellent waiter service. Would absolutely recommend this little gem of a hotel. Unexpected discovery. We were in a premium double, on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel. Very good sized balcony, view of pool, large good shower & air conditioning very welcome in the start of the season heat! One very important note. A taxi from the airport should cost around €25/30 - we, our own stupidly, were charged €80! We paid €12 with an Uber for our return! The airport is only 15 mins or so away.

Dear Emma, Wow! What an excellent and comprehensive review. We love it when we make ghuests happy. The good news here at Miramare is that we have opened our Kolonada Restaurant for our in-house guests. So far we are getting lots of compliments. We will open Kolonada to the general public early this Fall. We hope you will return to visit us! We miss your adventurous spirit. Warm regards, Sara Senkić, General Manager

Overall, an excellent hotel, to which we would return if we ever visit Zadar again. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, can’t fault it, especially the food cooked to order. The staff were attentive and welcoming too.
Our criticisms are minor and could easily be addressed. For a room costing over £200 a night, we would have expected complimentary water, tissues in the bathroom, and milk (or even powdered creamer) to go with the tea/coffee that was provided. But these are minor points.
The pool is great too, lovely and warm!

Room Tip: Parking provided. Nearby seafront isn’t great. Twenty minute walk to Zadar Old Town.

We came here with a big group (11) unfortunately 5 of us could not get a room none fault of the hotel, the owner of the hotel was present and explained what happened and offered to help look for other possibilities. Very caring and hospitable. Breakfast/lunch staff are amazing and the food, incredible. If you go have lunch and take the caesar salad (with crispy chicken) front office staff is very nice and offers places to store luggage. There was a inconvenience with the elevator, and grandma is not great on the legs so they moved her room to a better room on the 1st floor with a balcony 👏🏼.
Overall very good stay, hotel is very new. Interior of the lobby looks AMAZING, and staff is doing very good.

In my opinion the "hotel" looks more like a casino from the outside then an actual hotel. Located on a turn about in the city its always noisy and at night the lights of the cars illuminate the room. There were many pesky bugs that were in the room during our stay. We had issues with light switches and noise coming from the WC. The rooms also were not very clean. Wifi left much to be desired.
I have seen reviews about the restaurant but when we stayed it was still closed except for some store bought breads and pastries for breakfast. You really have to walk to go find something to eat. Also, there is a beach nearby but there is always this awkward smell. The locals said there is a sewage run off nearby which would explain the odor in the air and in the bath water.
Overall it has a decent look but you just pay to sleep. For everything else you need to either drive or walk someplace. Save your money and go elsewhere. Your wallet and stomach will thank you.

The beds are ultra comfy with lots of pillows, the rooms look new and stylish...wood floors, big closets beautiful bathrooms, everything you want in a room.
The location is excellent - a block from the water and in a walkable area.
The staff are so nice, helpful and friendly. The restaurant is modern and cute, next to a pool, and there is a bar and cafe setup too. Breakfast is perfect- everything you want and good coffee!

I have just returned from Hotel Miramare after staying for 4 nights. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location, 10-15 minute walk to the old town, and about 3 minutes to the beach and supermarket.
From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, ours had a balcony which was great to relax on after a busy day. The bed was so comfortable, I loved the fact there were pillows to choose from too. The breakfast was wonderful, so much choice from the continental buffet and could also choose from the menu. I honestly couldn’t fault this hotel in any way, it was absolutely perfect - one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! I really can’t wait to come back, hvala hotel Miramare!

I was in Zadar for a short business trip. I booked the brand new Hotel Miramare. The location right near the old town is perfect, so I was able to avoid the agony of looking for a parking space. The hotel leaves nothing to be desired. Everything has been beautifully renovated with a pool to perfectly end a strenuous day at work. Miramare is my new favorite hotel.

We loved this hotel - so clean and fresh and with very friendly staff. The location is great - close to beach front and a short 15 minutes walk to the old town. Along side a great buffet offer there is a hot breakfast cooked to order. It was a perfect stay and we would highly recommend.

The hotel is not very well located and is expensive for what it is. The service is very bad, not in accordance with the price we paid.
We left the hotel without being able to have breakfast. We placed our order as soon as we came and explained we were in a hurry. After 35 minutes, nothing came. We left without eating, in a hotel that cost us almost 500 euros a night. Shame.

Well located - a few yards walk from the beach and twenty minutes from the old town.
Modern, bright building. Room well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed the restaurant evening meal and breakfast a la carte menu. What really made our stay were the owners Faith and Veljko who were the perfect hosts. All the staff went out of their was to make our all too shirt stay there enjoyable. Lovely pool and free parking. Highly recommended - we hope to return.
