The two of us were late night walk-ins. We were greeted promptly, given a parking place, shown to our room, which was big, clean and comfortable. We stayed only for one night, but were allowed to leave our bags even after the check-out time for no extra charge so we were able to enjoy the city hassle free for the... More

We stayed in Mostar for one night, following hiking in the mountains. Hostel Lena was our choice and we weren't disappointed. The place is well situated on a busy road, but you can park a car there (we parked VW caravelle, so plenty of space). It's walking distance from the city centre and the famous bridge. The hostel has a... More

When we arrived to Mostar we didnt have accomodation. It started to rain heavily so as the best option we accepted the offer of Lena, who was very nice with us. The place is just beside the train and bus station, and the city center is a couple of minutes walk from here. Although the house is located next to... More

We arrived to the train station in Mostar, and friendly Lena was already offering her rooms. Before accepting I decided to visit the city and check different options..I still cannot believe what I saw..Shabby rooms, offered for €10 per person. I did not find a single decent place to stay. So at the end, Lena's offer of €15 for the... More

at once we arrived to hostel, Lena welcomed us very warm. The conditions of living were very comfy, air conditioned room was excellent during summer days, free WIFi also important during journey. And also equipment of kitchen was sufficient for preparing any food. Nice conversation with owners and dinner in a garden are things to remember. And very important -... More

Lena was really friendly and attentive. She welcomed us with a drink and some figs! She gave us some tips to visit the city, explained us curiosities about the place and recommended a nice place for dinner! The location of the hostel is great, you can walk downtown. You can pay in euros! The fact that shower and toilet are... More

When you visit mostar - stay in Hostel Lena! Lena and her Mother are so helpful and friendly. It's a very familiar atmosphere there. We stayed 3 nights with our kids and everytime we felt good. ( if you plan to trip to Montenegro, we think it's a good option to take the Taxi-service of Lena's husband. We didn't -... More

It is a great place to stay in Mostar. Lena gives very friendly actually even family atmosphere to all her guests. She is amazing person who can give some good advices. We spent there only one night but was wonderful. Close to the bus and train station, not so far from the Mostar's old town (max 10 minutes by walk)... More

We had an excellent experience at Hostel Lena in Mostar! We found this hostel while we were driving to Mostar, booking very late (7pm). We ended up taking the scenic route in Bosnia, and didn't show up to the hostel until midnight. We were convinced that the hostel would have given up on us (I certainly would have!) and pulled... We stayed at Hostel Lena one night. At first we had some difficulties finding the place, because there is only a small sign on the pavement. As we finally got there and found the reception in the first floor (when you enter the "reception" you actually come into owner's living area), Lena greeted us and showed us around, she also...
