We arrived on an overnight bus at 4am. We had made a reservation the previous day. The receptionist (whom we might have woken up) let us check in really early as there was no one in our room. This was awesome as we were exhausted from the bus. Breakfast was ok. The location was really good and it was easy... More

Hotel Romantica is in a fantastic location, just off a main pedestrian shopping street with plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby, yet quiet. Its easy to walk to the Old Town from here, and not too difficult to get here from the train station - by bus or 15- 20 minutes walk. I had a very pleasant spacious room,... More

... for a night or two in Plovdiv. Big rooms (you should like orange, thought). Quiet and in the center of the city. Standard breakfast (no cheese/ham) is served on a nice terrace. Parking can be a bit anoying - but it works!

Nice hotel, very centrally located beside the main street and right across from hemingways restaurant. We had room 11 across from the reception, there were two single beds and a large sitting area with a nice tv and English channels to watch - which was great. This place was so cheap 40euro for the room with breakfast included (boiled egg... More

This hotel is a good value with free Internet and centrally located in Plovdiv. The service was great and the rooms are spacious. The rooms were nice for Bulgarian standards, but not European standards. The issues we had were the room heater was loud and vibrated all night, the water heater leaked constantly in the bathroom, and the free breakfast... More

We were recommended this hotel by a helpful man in the tourist information centre, after having not such a good experience with our hotel the previous night. It was an excellent recommendation, slightly more expensive than our usual budget, but well worth it. The hotel manager was very friendly and showed us to the downstairs room which we were immediately... More

This hotel is a refurbished house on a walking street in the newer part of town. It is just down from the main walking street that is full of fountains, sidewalk cafes etc. The rooms were large, well decorated and super clean. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood very quiet. The staff was usually one person and we encountered... More

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Romantica. The room was nice. The beds were comfortable, but two beds together instead of one. The room with two separate beds was a bit cheaper.

The hotel was lovely, the rooms were huge, with a table, settee, wardrobes, television and the bed all fitting in with still plenty of space. The staff were so friendly and helpful we didn't arrive until quite late the woman on reception said we could have a late breakfast if we wanted to have a lie in. The location of... More

We booked Hotel Romantica because of its great location. When we arrived at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the double room and the friendliness of the front desk employee. Our double room was massive! It had a sitting area as well as a sleeping area. Even though we were a few hours early, we were... More
