They let us pay 1,756 egyptian pounds for two rooms one without aircondition, the staff mohammed darwich failed to issue a receipt after so many calls he would just tell later, up to the time of our check out we did not get out receipt. All the pictures shown above are photo shopped. It was the worst run down old... More

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in for a myriad of reasons. First of all the hotel manager called me 3 times to confirm the time of arrival, and as he could not understand the concept of am/pm or day/night he called again frantically in the afternoon when we were arriving later that night. Upon arrival... More

This was a bad advice to get. Philip House is a place that doesn't respect people, and gives fake bookings. They tell that they book by phone and Internet but what happens is that upon arrival the reception and the hotel manager Mr. Mohamad Abdel-aal told me that there is no reservation. After this they asked me to pay more... More

Good things: Friendly and helpful staff Close to downtown and the sea Bad things: Location very noisy to the main road Shared bathrooms It's a okay hotel to stay in when you're out a lot. It's with nice furnitures in the rooms and a small hotel so it's more comfortable like you're home.

We come at the night, we booked for a room, they say that they didn't have a room, we show the reservation, they say that they move us to another hotel, we pay 23 usd in cash and they move us to another hotel, they pay the difference. They say no problem we put in booking that you come here.... More

I stayed in a sea view room which had a wonderful view. The whole hotel is very dated (some might say old) but in many ways that is the charm of the place too. I think if you enjoy old world charm and great (amazing) views and are willing to overlook that it is a little run down, you will... More

But the shared bathroom is not clean at all. The service is great and they welcome you. But I did not want to stay. It has a great view, but... More

Location is great, right within walking distance to down town Alexandria but is right on the main road by the sea side a very noisy location. A simple room that does not have a bathroom is what we got at a rate promise of less than what we would pay had we booked the room on the net !!! ....... More

If you are planning to spend most of your time outdoors, then this is the perfect place. Located in the heart of Alexandria at the seaside "Corniche", it offers both a perfect view of the Mediterranean from the rooms and easy access almost everywhere. It's a walking distance from the Main Train Station as well as the Roman Amphitheater. The... More

This hotel is a cute little place. It is a house hotel that is well managed and clean. They have many different room styles available and my friends and I stayed in different room options. They had private bathroom rooms and rooms where you share a bathroom. It is nicely located on the corrniche and in the middle of some... More
