My wife and I went with a couple over the summer and stayed at the inn. We were in the room called the apartment. It was a great place to be at. The host was fantastic and friendly. The prices were perfect and the food was phenomenal. This is probably the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed inn....

My wife and I stayed three nights this past summer at this delightful B&B which is just blocks from Torch Lake. We tried both the Lake Skegemog and Lake Bellaire rooms. The rooms were very clean, tastefully decorated, and in terrific shape. Even more importantly, the place is owned and tended by the owner, Harvey Bartel, a kind soul who...

This is the best B&B / Hotel either of us have ever stayed at (move over Marriott). Even if you dislike B&B's you will love this place! Perfect for anyone over 18... couples, friends, families, honeymoon, etc. Harvey (the Inn keeper) and Merlin (K-9 Inn keeper) excitedly greet you and take you upstairs to your room. The Elk Lake room...

My daughter and I recently stayed here. It is a great place to stay. The Inn is very clean and comfy. Harvey's breakfast is second to none! The afternoon we arrived our host (Harvey) took our luggage up to our room and then poured us a glass of wine, which we enjoyed in the yard on some Adirondack chairs. The...

Beautiful rooms, very good food, delightful host, friendly dog, good shopping nearby. My only recommendation would be to somehow have enough seating at breakfast for all guests. I will definitely return!!!

Hello Thanks for the great review. I know seating is a problem when I'm totally booked. Many mornings some guests prefer to eat in their rooms and it lessens the crowd in the common area. I plan to add a deck so guests can eat outside when weather permits.

The Inn at Torch Lake is a must visit place. Harvey is a gracious host and a first class chef. We stayed in the Elk room which was a sumptuous room with a Jacuzzi tub. Can't say enough good things about the Inn. But I will say that Harvey's dog Merlin is one of the cutest smartest dogs around. Merlin...
