Hi John, that is a very good question, and I can honestly say that I don't know, as I purposely left my laptop and smartphone at home when I went on holiday. I did however use the hotel's provided guest computer in a private corner of the hotel lounge to contact friends and family via email etc, and found that there weren't any issues except that it was a French ( non QWERTY ) keyboard layout, which takes a little getting used to. Hope that helps.
