Extremely clean compared to the rest of Mandalay, we had a very warm welcome and the communication was easy. They offer every service we were looking for, to a day taxi, to a bus to Kalaw. They made our trip simple and safe. Thank you so much to the team you were all so amazing!

Great little hotel with modern, well designed rooms. Great wi-fi and in a great location especially if you need the rail station. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast pleasant enough.
I stayed here during my time in Mandalay and returned for 1 night after returning by train from Pyin Oo Lwin and it was great being 1 min walk from the station. I was in my room and under the shower within 5 mins of the train arriving.
Reception arranged my bus to Bagan with ease and overall the staff were lovely.
Highly recommend this place - Good value for money too.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Spacious bathroom, nice bed.
Rooms at the front are very noisy due to the heavy traffic that goes till late. Other rooms have no window. Few rooms at the back are quiet and have a window. Internet works irregular.

4 of us had 2 rooms on the top floor (4 flights of steep stairs up), we had a room with a double bed and another with twin beds, both had no windows. The double room was exceptionally small, would not reccomend for 2 people as 1 person had to stand beside the bed if the other needed to get to the fridge, bathroom, you could not sit on the stool without being in the way. There is also nowhere to store your suitcase, so we had to store it below the TV and as there are only 2 power points next to each other (away from the kettle) we had to move the kettle to use it and use the very limited space to charge our phones and tablets. There was a bedside llamp but nowhere to plug it in???? The room with 2 single beds was considerably larger and had plenty of space.

The staff are absolutely amazing, 1 of our cell phones dropped out at security at the airport, they tracked it down and made sure it was delivered to us, their recommendations for eating were good and always a smile from everyone.

Breakfast was delicious, and varied, coffee hot and a choice of 4 other hot dishes, 2 breads etc, good breakfast.

This hotel would be great for 1 or 2 nights as it is opposite Mandalay train station and surrounded by cheap eats and small shops, hotel is quiet but if staying more than 1 night would go for a larger room.

This hotel is excellent. Comfortable with the best location. The hotel has, extremelly friendly, helpful and polite staff. Delicious breakfast, indeed the vegetables were actually the best we tasted in Myanmar. Wi fi worked properly. Every day free cakes and coffee in the room.
They arranged tours with very experienced drivers / guides.
Welcome orange juice with biskuits.

Firstly I just want to say the people who work there are absolutely lovely, but there were a few things with our stay that didn't make it a good one.

From the start we were told inexplicably that our double room wasn't available, so we ended up in a twin. This room had a very noisy and annoying water pump that could be heard until late at night and early in the morning. I requested they turn it off, which they did to allow us to go to bed. But the thing kicked back in at 6 in the morning so no chance of a lie in.

Next day we had them move us to the double room. This room stank of smoke even though it was apparently a no smoking room. Neither room had a window so no chance of any fresh air. Our clothes were stinking of cigarette smoke the next day.

Also one of the nights the hot water wasn't working. Bathroom is a nice fit out though.

Unfortunately for all the above we did not enjoy our stay there.

The staff are what makes this hotel, as they are extremely friendly and helpful. We are vegetarians and they made is special breakfast dishes that were delicious. They also wrote a note for us in Burmese to use in town that explained we don't eat meat. Most rooms don't have windows, which would have been nice, but otherwise were very comfortable. As my son, who has traveled a lot in Asia said: "I was amazed that every item in the room worked!"

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. However, the wifi in our room (on the second level) did not work at all and the room smelt a bit funny (like sewerage, but I guess that might just be a thing in Myanmar plumbing). The staff offered to let us change to a different room where the wifi would be working (as they couldn't get it working) but we had already unpacked and was only staying one night so we kindly declined their offer. Other than that, the room was fine and the breakfast was also decent (mostly Myanmar style breakfast). Location of the hotel is also great if you're arriving by train. Restaurants are at a walkable distance or a short tuk tuk ride away.

The hotel organised a driver for us to visit selected sights in Mandalay and to drive us to Bagan the following day. We paid quite a bit for the service ($160 USD) and they said it was going to be an English speaking driver. However, there was something dodgy going on with the driver (not the hotel's fault). The English speaking driver that was booked picked us up from the hotel, then drove for 2 minutes and told us that he's sick and his brother will be driving us for the day. His brother was very nice, but barely spoke a word of English so we were really confused when he dropped us off at the attractions (he didn't give us any information at all). We had no idea whether we needed to buy tickets and if so, where to buy the tickets. He had to phone his brother several times, basically every time we asked a question or if he wanted to ask us a question. I'm not sure why his brother didn't just pick us up from the hotel in the first place (perhaps he was trying to do a sneaky and didn't want the hotel to know that he offloaded a job to someone else?). We set off to Bagan at around 4pm, so I think the driver was in a bit of a rush to drop us off so he can return to Mandalay at a reasonable time. He drove extremely fast (the car didn't have any seatbeats so we were a bit concerned) and even hit a dog and killed it :( (he apologised for hitting the dog when we arrived at Bagan)
