Stayed for three nights in July. Rooms were clean and fairly typical for SE Asia; functional, spartan, with combined shower, sink, and toilet area. Staff are really helpful and nice! Included simple breakfast: white bread, an egg, fresh fruit, tea or coffee. Wifi worked really well. Can recommend the driver, Pho Se (the hotel has his number); he drove us...

It would have been nice to have a bar or breakfast, but the hotel is nice and clean. Rooms at the back are small and dark. Location is nice, lots of friendly people around. Walking distance from the Air Asia bus stop.

I arrived at the guesthouse at 5.30am after getting nightbus from Yangon. The staff managed to have me in a room by 6.30 which considering most places check in from 11am onwards is very good. While I waited the owner went and got me coffee and bananas for breakfast. Thanks to the service was very happy with my stay. Also...

We booked a room with aircon and hot shower. Shower turned out to be a bucket with hot water, that's alright. Not important. Aircon in April though was something we would really have enjoyed and were willing to pay a little extra for. Unfortunately it was broken. We asked the staff to check if they could fix it, they checked...

Stayed here for 3 nights in a single room, located up a few flights of stairs and with a window facing the front entrance. Upon arrival i was greeted with an orange juice, local map, information on buses/boats/taxi's and a bottle of water ("present for you"). The room itself is small and quite boxy but it was comfortable, super clean,...

When I checked-in, a young guy staff was at the counter and a little teenage staff (looks so young, I'm guessing she's just 13 or 14) helped me carry my backpack all the way to the 3rd floor. I'm not so sure about Myanmar culture but I would normally have male hotel service staff to help me carry my baggage...

We started our trip in Myanmar here and we absolutely loved Rich Queen. It definitely gave us the most value for our money than any other place we stayed on our trip and the staff was very accommodating. Their English was pretty good and they gave great advice on where to go and different options to get there. They only...

I booked a double room for 2 nights at this guesthouse. It's good value for money, it's clean, quiet, close to a market and several restaurants, and the staff is helpful. Breakfast is nice and the Wifi works! I didn't rent anything because a friend from Mandalay took me around, but the guesthouse provides bikes and motorbikes, and can arrange...

Really adequate guesthouse. Not really expensive. Room was clean. Fridge in the room was empty though. You can rent bicycle for 1000 kyats. And location is really central and next to market. I would suggest this for backpackers

Clean and quite place in Central Mandalay and about 45 minutes walking to the Royal Palace Entrance (east gate). Price for a double room was 25.000 kyat (30 AUD). People from Myanmar raised all prices after 2010 (Democracy Government) and comparate than other accommodation in South East Asia, Myanmar's hostels are really expensive. Free wifi, bathroom in the room, breakfast...
