A clean and reasonable hotel, not in a particular tourist area but central and acceptable for business. Staff were keen to please and attentive, the room was well equipped and clean. There is an indoor pool, gym and spa which all seemed very good

While in Myanmar for the first time, we were booked here for the stay. The Room was good. Food was a problem, being vegetarian but I managed. All the meetings were in the hotel only, so travelling was not an issue. Overall good stay.

Stayed at this hotel during our tour of Myanmar. It was picked by our tour company. I have told then to knock it off their list. The room was dirty. The bath was chipped and rusty. The grout was falling out the tiles. The staff were not friendly at all and hardly spoke English (not that we expect it). The...

The hotel was included in a tour provided by a solid agency. Nevertheless I decided to check. Several sites offered decent reviews and the pictures looked nice. So not accurate! The first impression was disappointing as reality didn't match pictures at all. The entrance was quite dirty and lobby had a strong smell to cigarette. I decided to go past...

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before and it was acceptable. This hotel caters mainly to Chinese, Korean and Burmese businessmen, and the buffet breakfast reflects this. If you do not fancy fried rice for breakfast, there is a little fruit, rather indifferent pastries and small omelettes. This time the hotel was 95 percent full and...

If you love the smell of cigarettes lingering in the corridors, two ashtrays in your bedroom, asian breakfasts, the tardis like shower cubical that barely drips water, trains shunting all night long........this is the hotel for you. Now the positives.......

It is a mid range establishment, though some would argue it to be low range. The location is decent, within walking distance to some eateries and the street market. The staff are competent in their respective roles, and offered to highlight the local attractions. The breakfast spread is mediocre, and do go early if you wish to get your fill...

Group of 6 booked by our tour operator and disappointed. Old hotel which could do with a lot of TLC. Restaurant was also sad. Breakfast for non-Asians pathetic. Most of us settled for coffee, cornflakes and toast. No much chance for eating nearby either! Good luck if you stay here. Seems that there nicer restaurants in the same price range.

While this hotel was better than the one I experienced in Yangon, it wasn't perfect. We booked this particular hotel because it had a pool. While, yes it is a pool, it wasn't really what we had expected. It was more of a pool for swimming and working out rather than lounging around. It was inside, next to the gym,...

It looks very big and modern from outside, but inside, it is so so, quite old and small. Breakfast buffet is so so, not many choices. I saw a different Myanmar in Mandalay at my last stop after nice Yangon, quiet Naypidaw, ancient Bagan.
