The room was a bit small, but very clean. But Aunty Nanbwe was so kind and hospitable, caring and full of laughter. We took the cooking tour and it was way better than expected. You get to see a side of Myanmar that you otherwise won't. She recommended to us a very nice restaurant (123)... she is very open, honest...

What a great place With lovely people and all the help yo can imagine on a really relaxed way. Free tea and juice, some fruit as a welcome, bikes to discovernthrbcity but also loads of other facilities. Could leave my backpack for some cycling trip around Myanmar. Delicious breakfast met home made jam and toast with eggs and a nice...

I stayed at Yoe Yoe for two nights as a solo traveller. The accommodation is quite basic but just what you need. The room I stayed in was 6 bed dorm right beside the reception, which was clean and quiet, although quite small for 6 people + bags. The breakfast was delicious every morning, and a lot better than other...

Room was basic but very clean and spacious with lots of power outlets (very important for us :D). Bathroom was outside the room but not a big deal for us. Usable WiFi, excellent breakfast (we had orange juice and omelette every day). Location is not perfect but still easily accessible from main attractions. Staff are the best! Extremely friendly and...

Stayed here for four nights total over two separate visits - definitely the best hostel experience we've had in this trip. Rooms are big and clean, free toothbrushes, shampoo, water, wifi and cigars (!), the staff are like one big family run by Nan Bwe and they welcome you into the fold immediately! As others say, the breakfast is huge...

Yoe Yoe Lay is one of the most expensive guesthouses that my friends and I stayed at during our time spent in Myanmar however the cost is justified by the level of service delivered by the staff. Although breakfast is included in the room charge at almost every guesthouse in Myanmar, Yoe Yoe Lay's was particularly good. Every morning we...

A basic hostel that's not very central. However, it's cheap and the staff is very kind and helped me arrange all my day-trips/drivers/bus tickets with a smile on their face. It is a very sociable place, and their garden is the best place to make new friends over a beer. Ideal for solo travellers. The owner is very sweet and...

The location of the hostel is a little further out but you'll need a bike to explore the best of what Mandalay has to offer anyway. The staff are super kind and friendly, really making your stay memorable. Breakfast is a real feast, you won't need to eat until dinner! The facilities and dorms are basic but clean, you'll have...

This had a great atmosphere for a hostel, which is often lacking in Myanmar. It's perfect for solo travellers or young people. The communal area was great and breakfast was delicious. The only issue was that the hostel was slightly out of town but inked were available and the atmosphere and helpful staff made up for this minor inconvenience.

I stayed 2 nights in a dorm room. Upon arrival I was given juice and a plate of fruit to enjoy while I waited for them to check me in. Beds were comfy and bathroom clean. I wouldn't really call it a 'homestay' as such, but is great all the same. There's a few mosquitos around so advise spraying on...
