Our mini bus from Inle Lake included free drop off so booked this hotel for 1 night as it was cheap & we could get dropped off outside the hotel so no walking about with our backpacks. The room was clean & a good size (had much smaller in Yangon for more money & the same standard) though a little...

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel as it was one of the cheapest in Mandalay. The staff in this hotel was friendly and the location was also ok but unfortunately I discovered bedbugs after the 2nd night. I felt very uncomfortable and itchy during the last night stay there. Breakfast was nice in the morning and the staff helped...

Stayed for one night in a twin on the top floor. There is no lift so it was a long climb, with no offer from staff to help with bags as we have had at most other hotels. Room was basic but good air con. Breakfast of toast, eggs and noodles was adequate. Shared bathrooms seemed to be cleaned regularly...

Very Basic rooms with everything you need. Can't open the windows, what is okay because of the propperly working air con. The shared bathrooms are perfectly clean. The breakfast is really good and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The staff at the reception speaks good english and is trying to help where they can. The recommend a very...

Fortune hotel was one of our best experience in Myanmar. Our standard double room was very spartan (tiled walls, window but no day light), but the hotel was extremely clean and this is what you really appretiate in the end. The stuff spoke sufficient English and was able to arrange a car and driver for a day for 35 USD...

Booked a twin room for one night, no huge complaints but not anything amazing. Room was pretty spartan, bringing to mind a prison cell with bare bricked walls and basic furnishings. However beds were acceptable, aircon very good, there was cable tv (watched Premier League football), so not all bad. WiFi was horrendous, though this is standard for Myanmar. Bathroom...

Stayed for two nights and the hotel met all our needs. In a very good location (next to a cinema which shows western films in English and many restaurants). The bathrooms and toilets were shared and generally clean. Breakfast was nicer than most places as we were served fresh fruit. The staff had little English but provided maps and knew...

Great place to stay on a budget, not if you are claustrophobic though. Our room was very exceptionally small. The rooms are pretty beat up, holes in the walls etc but the AC works well enough, the staff were friendly and free breakfast. Hated having to climb 5 stories to our room with no lift.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a generally comfortable stay. Room was large with clean sheets. The air con took so long to get to temperature (an hour or more) that we ended up taking the key from the fob that controlled the electrics and leaving the air con on the whole day. It was the only way...

For Myanmar, this is a really affordable hotel, but you really get what you pay for. Rooms are tiny, bathroom is communal, breakfast was basic, staff was friendly but not knowledgeable. The wifi doesn't work at all, which would be ok considering Myanmar in general has terrible wifi, but the whole building is also a 3G dead zone, so there's...
