Good value for money for a mid budget hotel. The reviews was that the hotel is primarily a chinese Hotel. This is a misnomer. The communication with staff is a problem as very few understand English. The rooms are nice and clean.

The room was very clean and hotel is still very new only 10 month old. All the staff was very polite and friendly. The owner and the lady manager both speak very fluent English and constantly making sure how is our room and everything is alright. It was really a 5-star hotel customer service. The breakfast dinning room was on top floor with a very nice city view. The breakfast was basic but quite delicious. There are not many tourist-oriented restaurants in that whole city. I found a clean Chinese food place called Aung Lin around the corner, and a Thai place called Thai Min Thar a bit further down the same road. Both taste quite good. When we checked out he lady manager even gave my two little kids a souvenir. Next time if I have a chance to travel to Mandalay again, I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as a bit of treat/break from hostels. It was fairly inexpensive booking from a discount hotel site. The rooms are very nice for the money particularly considering the general standard of hotels in Myanmar. The staff were so helpful and the owner even gave us a lift to the bus station free of charge. The cleaning staff threw away my girlfriend's hypoallergenic soap and they went out of there way in the middle of the night to replace it. Good food just round the corner Shan ma ma is so cheap and tasty. I definitely recommend this place.

The rooms are clean and well priced. The front desk staff helped me book a bus, a hotel and trekking in Hsipaw. They were willing to make all the calls to help me set it up. Best hotel staff I've ever dealt with! Thank you so much!

The air-con is working fine, but the refridgerator is not cold and the hair dryer is not hot

Pro : staff , breakfast , location
Con : frosted glass for bathroom walls, quite awkward for me & my friend

We arrived really early in the morning at the hotel from the nightbus from Yangon. We didn't book beforehand, but we could check in early, without any extra costs, and have a rest. We stayed for one night and they helped us book tickets for our next trip and with finding a copyshop. They staff was very helpfull and friendly and they were a great help with booking the tickets.
Very friendly staff and they make sure everything is oke.
The hotel itself is clean and nice and we had a perfect sleep. Very clean room, good bed and a warm shower.

We liked it here. The breakfast was large; the hotel room was clean, although it had a slight smell. Limited english at the front desk, but the bellhops are super friendly. Good location; close to some excellent local barbeque. Felt safe. For the price, we would definitely stay here again..

Hi, is there a safe in the rooms?
Answer from avnery

I believe there is. I am not sure, but I would certainly feel safe to leave valuables at reception. Burma is very safe theft-wise and that goes for hotels.

Hi! We will arrive Mandalay at 5.30 by bus. When is it possible to check in?
Answer from MarkChiangMai
Chiang Mai, Thailand27 contributions35 helpful votes
Completely depends upon room availability. If they have empty ones then I'm sure they would allow guests to check in early. If not then they have sofas in the lobby you can relax on or wander round the corner to a tea shop for breakfast while you're waiting for a room to become available.
