This was such a great hotel. We booked 8 rooms (for a business trip) and it was all handled very well. It was spotlessly clean, quite impressive. Staff were friendly and professional. Management were very helpful and even flexible when with short notice we had to make a change. The rooftop bar is AMAZING! such a little gem. Overall a great stay for this price. Will def go back here when in Mandalay.

Excellent hotel, fair rates and excellent service. During our stay the hotel personel has been very helpful and extremely friendly, on request pretty much anything is possible to arrange. At the lobby we have been assisted planning our trips and transport throughout Mandalay, Pyin Oo Lwin, Sagaing, Amapura and Inn Wa.

A very fine place to feel like home. Good Breakfast. Good Happy Hour and Free cocktail promotion. Nice Mountain View from Skybar. They also provide even a scope to search at Top Floor. Very Friendly staffs. Quiet and easy to go famous places.

We didn't spend much time in Mandalay, 2 nights, but this hotel was a bit far from any action. Plus it's a 5$ cab to any of the more central Mandalay spots. Though they did offer free bikes and have a great rooftop that had a nice view of the city where we Could have drinks. The rooms were clean and the place itself wasn't noisy or anything.

The staff are very attentive, sometimes 5 of them will rush to help a guest at once. They were super courteous and polite, however spoke limited English so sometimes communication was pretty difficult. Example: We called to see what time the breakfast finished, and the next thing there was a knock on our door and two employees had trays full of food from the buffet for us.

I only stayed 2 nights. I knew nothing about Mandalay before hand but the staff where so friendly and circled on the map everywhere to go and sorted me out a bike. Innwa is a must, I would of never of known about any of this stuff if it wasn't for them. Location is good if you rent a bike as you are in between everything. Bed is comfortable and the food is actually really good.

The staff is just adorable and always willing to help you.
The rooftop terrasse offers an amazing view to the city where food is really good and varied. Same place and same comment for breakfast.
The bed are very comfortable.
The sheets and towels have been changed every day.
Anytime of the day/night, very hot water in the bathroom.
It is located a bit far from the center but you can get free bikes.
Besides very quite at night.
Glad to go back there in a few days for a one night stopover in Mandalay.

I am a teacher in Mandalay and the school pays for a hotel room for me here. In consequence my experience may be a bit out of the norm. I live on the top floor in a room that is small but adequate for my needs. When I first came here there was NOWHERE to store my clothes in the room, but within a day the hotel had installed hanging rods and moved things around so that I could stack T-shirts, shorts etc. In a nutshell, the staff will do anything you ask (within reason).

Breakfast is from 6:30 to 9:30 with a choice of Western or Myanmar food. There are 4 hot Myanmar dishes that change every day -- typically some kind of rice dish, noodles, plus a main dish and fritters. There's also fresh fruit, cereal, bread/toast plus eggs to order. I eat a good breakfast each morning and am good to go until dinner time (which I also usually eat in the restaurant). The restaurant is on the 5th floor with air conditioned indoor seating, or terrace seating overlooking the mountains.
The hotel is 2 minutes' walk from my school so situation is perfect for me. Pagodas etc are a bit of a step. I like walking so it's all right for me, but tourists should probably think about cabs. No my area of expertise.

We spent 10 days at Hotel Ye Myanmar. The staff was very kind and took good care of us. They really liked our baby, and gave us a spare mattress for her when it turned out they didn't have baby cots. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the view from the restaurant. The bed was comfortable and the AC never went out. Only issue we had was this: our non-smoking room had been smoked in when we first arrived. Another night the smell of smoke permeated the room from a neighboring smoking room. Last, we found a cigarette butt behind our bed. The staff was very kind in every case. I hope they keep all smoking rooms on the same floor going forward so that the non smoking rooms are less affected.

I actually stayed at this hotel for 3 months due to my job. The room was clean, with a good view, and included a refrigerator. The breakfast was always delicious and had a good variety. The central location is decent.
The reason I rate it so highly is the staff. They were always very helpful and smiling, despite the language barrier. They would bring me fruit trays as a "present", helped me with taxis and directions, and always offered a friendly greeting. In fact, my glass bathroom door cracked during my stay and they replaced it in a few hours...no questions asked.
I highly recommend this hotel. Staying there was a great experience.
