Villa Champa was perfect for us, from the airport pickup (50,000kip) to the great location, close enough for all the action, but distant enough for some peace and quiet. The young guys running the place are priceless- some issues with language (lack of) but nothing serious. Breakfast was fruit and eggs, toast, good coffee. The bikes are the best way... More

From Airport , paid 60K KIPS for 2 in shared passenger van and arrived Villa Champa in about 20 minutes. The check in process was hassle free by staff who were pleasant and helpful. Its a first time visit to Luang Prabang. Most accomodation are not the big city type hotels.. Most are guest houses ranging from 8 rooms to... More

Villa Champa is well-located in the old town of LP: it sits right at the corner where monks pass through at sunrise, when locals give their food. It is in a quiet area, close to restaurants, cafes, spas and temples. The place is super clean. Staff is friendly & helpful. Quite a selection of breakfast choices and pretty filling too.... More

After a disappointing experience with another guest house in Luang Prabang we came to villa champa and we're not disappointed! The rooms were big, clean, furnished with thought, the staff was amazing! The price was really great for what we got l and we loved it! It's in a great great location but still so quiet and calm:)

My partner and I spent two miserable nights in this guest house, which charged hotel rates - $49 per night - but offered third rate hostel service. The staff were utterly disinterested in us. The first night was very cold and we asked for an extra duvet or blanket but were offered two towels instead and told that we would... More

This is a small hotel in the historic part of LP. My room was on the second floor and had a balcony. The room is small but tastefully furnished. The bath is tiny but has a dry shower area. I have stayed in this hotel before and consider it a good budget option in LP. The reception person did not... More

We stayed at Villa Champa for four days and on the fourth day coming back from breakfast the receptionist in the morning kicked us out of our room, because he gave it to someone else while we booked it for that evening as well. His solution to his problem: we could get another room for 300.000,00 kip (before it was... More

Good place, helpful staff, great location. good tv and wifi. The room was very clean. It is a simple hotel, but it is comfortable, cheap, clean, with everything that you need, no luxury. We stayed in a back room, so we didn't have problem with the noisy.

The desk man Sulisak pretended to help book a ride to Kuang Si Waterfall. He said he could get a good rate, 600,000 kip. He gave the driver 300,000 kip and kept the rest himself. In other words, he commited a fraud on us.

Stayed 3 nights here and really enjoyed our stay! We had one of the nicest rooms (#108 - which is only a bit more than the standard room) which was spacious, 2 balconies (corner room), great shower and the service was good. Only complaint we had was our sink was a bit clogged and we kept asking for it to... More
