We didn't really feel welcome here, compared to the guesthouse we had just left from. We were given no info on the area or maps etc. The local staff tried their best, and allowed us to change rooms after our first night. The wifi wouldn't connect in the twin room, and without a tv or window it felt very isolated...

We stayed there with 4 kids for one week. Place is safe, not fare from main city, and the staff is very kind and helpful. They can organise motorbike rental for a good price. Many people stay there for many days or week so atmosphere is really peaceful. Restaurant "The Kitchen" just in front is good alternative for dinner if...

A lovely guesthouse with fantastic staff. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is served in a nice courtyard and is a great place to start the day. The night market is in walking distance and they will help you organise other excursions.

No frills. No TV. Lots of bugs though owner has done great by fixing netting. May require some maintenance work such as tightening wall socket or fixing light bulbs. Otherwise awesome place to stay with very friendly staff and to really experience life.

Unable to book two rooms in the far more salubrious Maison Dalabua, my son and I were forced to decamp to the slightly shabbier offering at Villa Suan Maak. A fairly basic guest house, run by a family, we were treated with a warm, welcoming, friendly smile. This Villa also runs the Suan Maak kitchen which has a Friday night...

Stayed here 1 night. We arrived about 10am and our room was ready which was good. The staff are very nice and offered free tea and coffee. The rooms are clean and decorated well, bathroom is also clean and it has a good shower. Would defiantly stay here again, great value for money. Breakfast is included which is delicious.

When we arrived here, the hotel owner made us feel very welcome. We slept in a good sized and clean room, but it was very basic. The thing that bugged us was that we woke up at 5 or 6 a.m. every morning, because of 2 roosters and dogs were making a lot of noise. This happened every morning, which...

The pros - The breakfast was good and included fruit, eggs, and good bread. There room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. The guy that worked that the front desk was very nice. The cons - The staff was at times non-existent, especially when you actually needed someone. On many occasions we could not find...

I have stayed here for three nights and the service made up for the inconvienences i encountered in the room. The room was very small and was not serviced at all during my stay. Bathroom too small and shower above the toilet. Room was quiet clean but the beds where horrible. As i travelled with a group there is difference...

“We were on teh bottom level near reception, and though some people have noted it was noisy...we didn't find it noisy at all. Perhaps it was the loud AC that drowned everyone out though :) Also, apparently the big, nice room of the villa has a nice comfy, soft bed (we were in a twin room).”
