We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and the experience was wonderful. The owner and staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The laundry service was excellent (don't bother with the ones on the street) and very prompt. I loved the electric beds as I was able to read and work on my ipad comfortably. The only...

Probably not the cheapest hotel in town, but we can not fault it. Excellent customer service, beautiful views of river and mountains. The breakfast terrace is a treat and a great way to start the day. The owner takes an active interest in pleasing guests, and staff are lovely. Electric beds in nice big rooms, and a golf buggy at...

We spent 4 nights in the Mekong Riverview Hotel in a Superior Suite Side view over Easter. The hotel is perfectly situated on the river front and our room was located up about 25 steps to the rear of the property. The room itself was very spacious with very comfortable twin beds, good sized lounge area, extensive balcony with seats...

We had stayed at the more expensive Residence, years ago, too far removed from town. This time, we decided to stay at Mekong River View, because of its excellent reviews and river view location. We're glad we did! The hotel is tops in all respects, without an ounce of pretension. The staff is friendly and eager to please. Welcoming receptions...

I had broken my arm badly in a road accident in Luang Prabang. I was just out of the local hospital after surgery and it was the 25th of December. Every hotel/guest house in the town was packed and I just did not know where to turn. Which is why, I'll always be eternally grateful to the Mekong Riverview for...

As soon as you arrive at The Mekong Riverview Hotel you know you are somewhere special. Upon our arrival the owner sat down with us and gave us a personal explanation of the places to go and things to do in the town. This hotel has THE BEST location in town. Each room has a river view which is spectacular...

Arriving with the 3 of us at the peak of the season - right spot on during Songkran or Lao new Year - we were still able to shop around at the prime locations. Anyway, the Mekong Riverview Hotel is a nice place to be, rooms are a bit small however. The bathroom had received an extensive - and apparently...

This was an amazing hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They really added to our experience. Their attention to detail and frist class service really puts them over the top. The rooms are amazing with a tremendous view of the river especially at sunset.

We had a very nice welcome from the owner and staff when we arrived at this hotel. He introduced himself and filled us in on a few hotel details and town information. We were then off to our rooms, which have no numbers and caused a little confusion, to find comfort and plenty of room. The beds are "Swedish" beds...

With it's privileged perch on the Mekong, this well run small hotel is hands down the best option to soak up the charm of this wonderful town. We had waffled between staying here or at La Residence Pho, which is far more luxurious and has a swimming pool. But after seeing both, we are convinced we made the right choice....
