Luang Prabang is a beautiful city and the Amantaka Hotel is one of the best in this country. If you can afford it, definitly it is a must in your accommodation list. Spotless clean, friendly and polite service are the trade marks of this low-rise hotel right in the centre of Luang Prabang. Restaurant service (or the kitchen) is veeery...

We stayed 2 nights here in October. Yes it is beautiful, quiet, services were superb. We had heavenly 2 days here. Spa treatment was excellent too. This vist was our first Aman. Fell in love, of course. I would like to visit again when it is a bit more hotter.

What a contrast… a few days ago I was in New York City and there I am in Luang Prabang for a family holiday after an uneventful flight on Bangkok Airways (which incidentally offers friendly if slightly concerning service – seems they don’t all have a clue of what’s supposed to happen)… Let’s again start with the conclusion – Amantaka...

The Amantaka Resort is definitely the best Resort in South-East Asia. I have stayed several times in this resort and had always just the best experiences with the very very helpful staff and the proposed different kind of activities. You are not just in the heart of Luang Prabang in this Resort but you can actually also really feel and...

We only visited this hotel. It is ver nice, quiet and clean. Wxcellent service. However, we were disappointed by the room and the overall hotel for its decoration that is very simplistic. For a hotel of this price, I would have expected much more.

Small luxury hotel. Our suite had our own private swimming pool which was just perfect after a full day of touring. Loved our pre-breakfast in the room that energized us for our sunrise tours. Staff was amazing, food was great....loved Laos!

We have stayed in a number of hotels in HCMC over the years and overall this was the best. We booked a Rex suite but were upgraded to a Presidential suite. Extremely spacious and although furnished traditionally lacked no mod cons. You do need to get the lift downstairs and walk across the lobby and then a second lift to...

This is one of the most amazing Aman resorts in the world and ultimately peaceful. It is in the center of the already peaceful Luang Prabang which is a charming colonial style town on the Mekong River. The resort exudes peace and tranquility and the staff is amazing. Everyone is genuinely friendly, kind and helpful. The architecture, the rooms, the...

We stayed at this property for a few days while visiting Luang Prabang. I have visited other Aman resorts , but have never spent actual overnight time. I can say unequivocally that this is one of the greatest hotel and location experiences ever. My wife and I have been fortunate to travel over the world, and have been at all...

Amantaka is a beautiful boutique hotel – only 24 rooms in a vast area - in Luang Prabang, close to the city centre. The rooms are big and very nice equipped. Half board is compulsory, but costs a $150 per day per person, including an excursion per day and one treatment per stay. The food is a set menu with...
