No service for 7 days, no hot water, toilet seat broken. Despite repeated attempts to get things repaired nothing was done. Room was small, typical Asian hard mattress. WiFi was good and a 5 minute walk to night markets were the only plus for this place.

I believe they only have five rooms. I got Room No.1 upstairs and it was simply huge, with a sitting area, TV, fridge, large bathroom, shared outside veranda. Bamboo finish on interior walls. Maybe I got lucky, the ground floor rooms looked fine however not as nice. Owners were friendly however English is not well understood. Reserved the room via...

When we arrived later in the evening we were treated and taken down the street to another guesthouse that had none of the amenities we booked this hotel for. No tv, no air conditioning, no wifi. The room was dingy and gross the washroom was full of cobwebs. When we asked why we weren't in the actual guesthouse we were...

Though I was supposed to stay here for a few nights, I left after 1. On arrival, I seemed to be more of an inconvenience to the guy at reception rather than welcomed and despite booking online and receiving confirmation, he had no clue I was arriving. The ground floor double room me and my friend were staying in was...

$15/night for a room with fantastic river views so close to the main street (only a minute walk) and plenty of restaurants and cafes which line the river side of the Nam Khan, including a few worth visiting such as the Tamarind and The Bamboo tree. Would definitely consider staying here again based on the location and the fact I...

We stayed in Sopha House for 3 nights in January. Originally we booked a place for 4 nights, but had to amend out plans unexpectedly. However, owners didn´t charge us for the 4th night, although we inform them about the change only on arrival. That was a positive surprise. We got a room with double bed on a ground floor....

Lovely riverside place right by the Nam Khan River, near the bamboo bridge (only during dry season) and a couple of minutes to walk to the Tourist Street and Night Market. Lots of charming (riverside) restaurants nearby. The room we got was not very big but very clean. Simple decor, with an aircon and a fan. Shower was not very...

Luang Prabang compared to the rest of Laos is expensive, but somehow this place bucks the trend. Location is perfect, overlooking the Nam Khong and literally minutes from the market, temples and monastery with excellent bars and restaurants all along the riverfront. Other hotels on the same street are double the price at least and it's hard to see what...

Location is decent, although not at the premium end of historic town. Price is agreeable, although you can get a better deal elsewhere, rooms are average although very small, but the place is poorly serviced. Owners are disinterested, speak poor english, under service the rooms, are inconsiderate with noise (early morning throat clearing and water system clunking)... which all lead...
