Recently spent nine nights at this lovely hotel. It is directly across the road from the Mekong and we had a front room which gave us a great view. The rooms are small but we were only in them to sleep so it was not a problem. They were lovely and clean and the breakfast, which is served across the...

Great views to be had if your room is overlooking the river but "view" rooms are smaller. Mine was at back so ZERO view but large and very comfortable. Staff at front desk (Than) and assistant very good. 5 pieces of laundry: $1,00 USD. I booked the room 8 months before and was told one week before that I would...

I stayed at another Luang Prabang hotel which was slightly less expensive, but I thought the small difference in price was worth staying at Lan Kham. My room had a balcony overlooking the Mekong which is great. It is only about 5 minutes to Mount Phousi, the Royal Palace, all the tour offices, and the night market so the location is excellent....

The guesthouse offers rather small rooms but they are spotless clean. The atmosphere is really welcoming and friendly. The drinking water bottles are supply daily. On afternoons guest are served fruity refreshing drinks. Coffee and tea are available all day long. Simply breakfast is served at the garden across the street at the place overlooking the Mekong river. Due to...

Had booked a river view room but ended up at the back of the hotel with no view. We were given a refund and our washing free. We were also moved to the front of the hotel on the first floor after a couple of nights, with a river view. The staff were really helpful at all times and were...

This is more of a guest house than a hotel. We reserved the family room thinking it will be more specious. It was in the first floor with no balacony, large with 2 double beds which crammed the room and blocked one window completely. The room is dark as one window can't be opened and the second one over look the...

I rather liked this place, the rooms are a little small but the staff are great and it is a lovely outlook onto the river. There are modern hotels in town but this one is traditional and very nice, many thanks ladies.

The staff are amazing but this Guesthouse was disappointing. It is in a great location and fairly clean, towels changed daily with bottles of water supplied daily. However, the room was very small, the bed extremely uncomfortable and the pillow lumpy. The balcony was tiny with a bench seat that was uncomfortable. Breakfast was adequate. There was not restaurant or...

Good location in the old town. Very quiet, even in a room on the ground floor by the road. Very nice area to have breakfast, outside by the river. Good choice of breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice touch offering a fruit shake everyday, when the guests return to the hotel in the evening.

This quaint little 10 room guesthouse is located within the central tourist section of Luang Prabang and, as the name suggests, on the Mekong River. The rooms are simply furnished, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. What more can you ask for? Each day, after your activities, you are greated with a welcome fruit shake and a friendly smile...
