Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was small double room with bathroom. It was a bit tight but for 1 person it was fine. It was clean, quiet location but only 2 mins walk from night market. Wifi was a bit iffy. Did not see the female owners only an older man. No cycles for rent either. For breakfast go... More

After booking a horrendous place in LP I started walking around and bumped into this place. Run by the female members of a laotian family this place was exactly what I needed. Close to the river and the morning market, clean, comfy bed, quite at night and they offered many tours and services without being pushy. The mother is a lovely... More

Stayed July 2016 Read the reviews and decided to stay here. Right beside the fresh morning market and 2 blocks away from the Mekong in one direction and the night market in the other direction. We walked in and requested a room but apparently you can contact them via Facebook as well beforehand. Friendly family in a quiet alley off... More

I stayed for four nights and was well looked after by the very friendly family (mostly female of all generations). The whole place was spotless and well maintained. The water was hot and the sheets were clean. Air con and wifi were very good - contrary to an earlier review I had very good wifi reception in my room, so... More

This is place was excellent! Close to the river, close to the night market. It was very affordable and they offer laundry service. The staff is very personable and always available. They also offer a Lao cooking class(LAO LICIOUS) that was a lot of fun and the best Lao food I had during my trip! Highly recommend

I found Oudomphong Guesthouse on accident and I planned to stay in Luang Prabang for only a week. I ended up loving LP so much that I decided to stay longer, and I ended up staying at Oudomphong GH for 1 month and 1 week. The three women who run the place are super helpful, understanding and kind. Their parents... More

I did not stay, since I was doing 24 hours round trip back to Vientiane, the owner here is so nice they let me keep my backpack here and provided me with free coffee and banana. They are very kind I would stay if I had more time in Laos.

The location is great. Walking distance to everything. The family is helpful and sweet making my stay very nice. Rooms are simple, nice, quiet and clean. I will definitively come back. Hmmmm. Really enjoyed the family that owned this guesthouse. They were kind, accommodating, helpful, and for us, they went above and beyond. My husband broke a foot on a fall to the waterfalls, and they got him ice, took me on a motorbike to get crutches, brought him some snacks...how kind is that? The rooms are nice size, clean, and they... More

Run by a super friendly family. Has clean and big rooms but most of all the service is great and they made us feel like we're part of the family a little bit. We extended our stay 3 times and came back after our weekend in Nong Khiaw. We also got a lot of help with the arrangements of renting... More
