First time I came here was in 2012 and second time a year later. I found this guest house by chance even hidden in a residential alley. The rooms are basic but very clean and the owner is such a nice guy, very helpful. You have very good coffee, tea and small bananas for free. The house has a beautiful...

Stayed here for 2 months, comfy beds and pillows, friendly owner (though other employees aren't quite as helpful), free coffee and bananas, hot water, great seating area upstairs to just listen to the world go by, lots of cheap local food options nearby. I would recommend getting one of the rooms in the back as the noise from Utopia can...

Great room, clean and great location. Br akfast is average, eggs and bread and coffee. Walkable to the night market and mountain. Friendly staff and a safety box at the front desk. Walk over to feed the monks in the morning, so worth it.

Great guest house. Rooms were clean and spacious, location is perfect, it's close to almost everything and even though it's close to Utopia it's still quiet in the evening. But what stood out the most was the friendliness of the owner and staff. We were lucky enough to experience the Festival of Fire in town and the owner suprised us...

Great room, ac was okay. It is very near Utopia Bar & Restaurant. I could hear the music from the bar when I was at the guesthouse's veranda but absolutely not in my room. The location is about 10 mins walk to the center.

We arrived in luang in a down pour of rain and went straight to this guesthouse but they were full. We went to the guesthouse across the alley and it wad absolutely terrible so next day we checked into vilayvanh. We were given room 204... the bed bug room. We inspected the room and matress and I am pleased to...

I stayed for 2 weeks and the owner (Duk) was extremely helpful and happy to help in any situation. It's located down a side street, very close to Utopia, which is a great place to chill out, eat and drink. It's clean, but for 100,000 Kip a night (£8/$13) for a room with AC you can't expect the space and...

This has to be one of our favorite places that we stayed during more than nine months of traveling. The hosts were super friendly and would bend over backwards to help. The location is ideal, close to everything, but tucked away down a quiet street. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had A/C (a must in these hot months). And...

We stayed at Vilay Vang Guest House for 4 nights in December, 2012. The guesthouse is in a quiet area not too far from the main part of Luang Prabang. To walk to the main part of town, you need to go around a hill, but either way around is quick and scenic. The advantage to VV's location is it...

Stayed here for 3 nights, found it cheap (120,000 for a 3 person room) great location as its only 5 minutes from the night markets, 2 minutes from the main pubs and restarunts and literally round the corner from utopia. the staff are very friendly and laid back, never once asked us to pay for the room. i had to...
