Couldn't fault this place right next to the waterfalls, guesthouse owner was very welcoming and spoke good English, however it is an hour away from anything so one night was enough for us. At night time it will cost you as there is no taxis running there after dark, the best thing to do is get a shared taxi evening...

Great location, friendly staff, best owner ever, good food, beautiful falls, could use a litle improvement in the general maintainance and cleaning, but over all it was a great pleasure to stay here, would love to come back

We only stay for one night here. Friendly staffs. They took us to their house for Laos new year blessing ceremony. Wonderful traditional laos food by the waterfalls. Local people gathering spot on weekends.

The cleanliness was very poor. We were there in low season and you could tell by the damp bedding and muck left behind from insects that the room had been made up after the previous guests a long time ago and no checks done before we arrived. The bathroom was appalling, masses of ants on the walls, dirty walls, and...

OMG. I regret so much that I have stayed here. We had to live in a village like people from Laos. I got bitten in a bed! Got bitten in a room. And everywhere. You can't be serious. I have done Gibbon Experience few days earlier and stayed on the tree house, but this...dirty bedding, I was sleeping in shoeeees!...

Very nice owner, she take care us like a relatives. The dinner is very delicious, there is the best we ate at Laos. Here is closely the nature, we slept with waterfall sound. And i think here is no warm water, but i'm wrong. Here is comfortable just only no wifi. We can take the best rest all night here.

This hotel was booked from home in Australia so were were not sure what to expect. About 300,000 Kip per night inc' breakfast. We arrived late due to a storm at the airport and some heavy duty bartering with taxis. The driver couldn't find it so we arranged to meet the owners' son-in-law on the road with a candle because...

Booking this place was difficult as we initially contacted Vandara via phone before arriving. We were told the booking was made and provided a hotmail address to email for confirmation. We emailed multiple times with no response. Their website indicated a low season rate of USD 40 per person for the Passion Fruit room, which we thought was overpriced given...

The hotel has a rustic style, very clean and confortable. It is a hotel created and constructed by a local family. They only have 6 or 7 rooms. We just stayed 2 nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a bit far from the city, but the owner, Wandara, arranged us a tuk-tuk to take us...

Me and my friend decided to stay at Vanisa because I had been to the falls the year before and thought staying overnight would be good. Vanvisa is a great place to stay BUT no one seems to know where it is, This is why I'm writing a review as it is worth staying. If you go to the entrance...
