My third visit in Angsana Maison Souvannaphom. The highlights were the comfort of the room. We stayed three nights. The hotel location is nearby the center of the word heritage such as temples , Phu Si Stupa, Chiang Thong Temple and the palace of the late king. Ying (GM) Kampan,Noi and all staff provided warm welcome and helpful. Many thanks for my birthday surprise and to help me booking the tour and good recommendations for dinner and activities. We spent our time in the afternoon at pool and the food was great ‘Somtam Luangpeabang’ . I love the daily special at breakfast. Thank you Nicky at the restaurant . Your cocktail was amazing and your good take care during lunch and dinner. The Naga boat set dinner was awesome. We went Tad Kwang Si waterfall which is not far from hotel and beautiful. Very impressed with everything . I will return soon hahaha.

From the moment my buddy and I arrived until the day we checked out, we were very well taken care of and impressed by everyone every single day.
Big thanks to Teh for his warm welcome and big smile all the time. He surprised us by tying yellow strings to our wrist with blessed wishes. We felt truly blessed throughout our stay in Luang Prabang.
Next to thank is Ponvang who has been so kind to start work earlier than his shift time to bring us to the Almsgiving and very attentively explained the ceremony and the traditions.
Also thanks to Somvang who has ensured of our safety to the airport and accompanied us in the van.
Our entire stay was super awesome and very well arranged.
If there’s 1 thing to improve is the wifi connection but could be the entire country is not as advance as other country, so can be forgiven.
The room smell so good and little thoughts like the adapter, mosquitoes repellent, soft drinks, juices aroma oil and incense joss stick provided.
We could only thank for a memorable stay and will be back for sure.

We spent 4 nights at Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel in August, and what a great experience it was. The hotel - as with many hotels - was quite quiet, as the number of tourists is still very low, especially during the week. We were the only ones at the hotel for our first 2 nights, and there was one more party that joined over the weekend.
We had am amazing stay here. The staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable, playing with our two children and helping to arrange our various tours. The spa / massage was also great (and we received promotional rates).
The hotel is located just about a 3-5 minute walk from the night market, so it's in a fairly good location as well.

We were fortunate to have stayed at the Maison twice - once in 2006, and once just a few weeks ago, January 2020. We were hoping to revisit our dreamy memories of this paradisical hotel. Unfortunately, we should have let our rose-colored memory stay a memory. It seemed that EVERY last detail from the exterior and grounds to interior room details and amenities was exactly as it was in 2006. But many of the details need a major update if not complete remodel. The bathroom shower drain, fixtures, plumbing, etc. were tired (to put it mildly). The shower did not drain properly and we had an ever-present odor of sewage backup into our room. Maison also had the worst WiFi logon, connectivity and connection speeds among all of our recent stays and while the reception staff was gracious in providing us with an individual pocket WiFi router for our room, it also was intermittent in reliability and expired after some time. The wall above our bed also was crawling with mysterious insects that appeared each night. It was really gross and slightly disturbing but we cleaned the wall ourselves each night and just dealt with it (we’re in the tropics after all). More details in the expanded section.

The service at this hotel is impeccable. The staff are helpful and go out of their way to accommodate your needs . Breakfast is served in your room ( the dining room is under renovation ) or you could eat under the trees in the garden . Keep the door closed and the air condition on bec of the mosquitoes . Wear your slippers and turn on the light when u go to the bathroom at night bec I almost stepped on a centipede . The location is great ; it’s a 10 min walk to the wet market in the morning , the night market and the monks alms parade at 5.30am is literally at your doorstep .

I live in Laos and usually stay in guesthouses but decided to try Maison Souvannaphoum due to it's great post-COVID lockdown promotion. I had a fantastic two-night stay. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and conveniently located. The staff are AMAZING - very welcoming, attentive, helpful, and kind. The spa is relatively expensive but offered one of the best and most professional massages I've had in Laos. As a vegetarian, I didn't love the lunch and dinner options but the breakfast was very good. The only con of this hotel is that I didn't want to leave the facilities to explore the city! I recommend booking directly for any ongoing promotions.

The hotel is close to the Night Market and within walking distance of the Mekong river as well as many shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet offered several options in addition to freshly prepared egg and noodle selections. We also very much enjoyed the Happy Hour cocktails by the pool in the evening.
During our stay we had a garden wing room with a balcony. Our only concern was the room was a bit small given the additional bed added for our 11 year old son and limited storage space. Unsure if there were larger rooms available, however given the limited amount of time spent in the room this was easily overlooked.
If visiting Luang Prabang give this sweet little hotel a try.

Really great hotel. We (family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 kids age 10 + 15) had 4 fantastic days at this hotel. All the staff was really nice, happy and helpful people and the atmosphere at the hotel was great. It has a good size - not so big, which we like, The location is great - 2 minuts walk from the nightmarket and nice cafes, 3 minutes walk from the mekong river waterfront, where you can find a lot of nice restaurant. 2 minutes walk from a lot of beautiful small streets with old beautiful buildings and so on. We have stayed in Luang Prabang before and we all agreed that the location of this hotel is just perfect. Very nice little restaurant with really great food that was beautifully arranged everytime. We will definitely stay here again if we get back to Luang Prabang. Everything was really clean and well maintained. A really great hotel !!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in December 2019. The staff here we do friendly and made us feel at home Straight away. The free bicycle service they offer is definitely worth it, we took full advantage and more or less saw Luang Prabang by cycling. It’s a relaxing hotel where your mind is at peace.

Ist time visit and Maison was a great hotel and location. Service was prompt but not overbearing, my room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection to chose from and the 1/2 price drinks from the bar were great to settle into by the pool.

The hotel is just 5 min walk to the river, the Mekong river side, and the same to reach the night market, which is in town. Luang Prabang is a very small town and we also provide complimentary bikes for the guest so they can move around, the land is quit flat.
