We stayed there for 6 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After a lot of research we chose to stay there and were very happy. The rooms are large with strong a/c, which can stay on- which is great when you return from a hot day out to a cool room ,complete blockout curtains, noise proof walls. Water pressure is strong, plenty of amenities ie.razors/shaving cream, sewing kit, cotton buds/pads, shower caps, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste etc. Breakfast was order of a menu as much as you like. Including eggs (any way you want) with bacon/sausages, avocado, tomato, mushroom, potato etc. French toast, fruit salad, oats with chia seeds and homemade yogurt, fresh juice, cereals with soy/almond/oat milk. Plus 3 different local dishes and a few other choices. Pool is not heated but with the heat here you don't need it to be, it's long enough for lap swimming and very clean. There's free modern well maintained bikes with lights. 4 large bottles of spring water per day. It is about 20 minute walk,5 minutes on a bike from the centre of town, but there is plenty of local restaurants and cafe/bakeries within 200 metres either way from the front of the hotel. Also there is a free shuttle when you want it (last one is 10pm)-to the post office/night market/ tourist info office corner. Staff are great and some speak good English. The owner/manager Phouvilat is onsite and trained in Australia for nine years, very helpful and speaks perfect English if you need help. Overall their was no real negatives. I would highly recommend to stay there.

This is a beautiful location, and oasis in the town. Aesthetic rooms are grouped around a beautiful jungle area and gorgeous peaceful pool, and the breakfast room is off this area as well, cool and clean Japanese type lines and very beautiful and pleasant. The staff went out of their way to help us in every possible way. They have shuttles back-and-forth to anywhere you want to go and can find you a driver for more far-flung tours with a mini bus or by boat, dropping you off and picking you up. My credit card was eaten by the ATM machine at the night market and although Ben had worked a 7 AM to 10 PM shift, we had just talked about it, and I did not want to bother him, I texted him, and he tried to get in touch with the banks, but wrote me he will take care of it tomorrow, since no one was answering. At 8 AM, he showed up at our room, ready to drive us to the bank, who he had insisted empty the ATM early since they originally told us to show up at 2 PM. Our flight was at noon, so we got right in the van and in 10 minutes. my credit card was back in my hand thanks to his handling of this. Also, we were meant to stay eight nights, but had to leave after only two due to an emergency and the manager Benjamin immediately said he would alert the owner, but that we should be refunded completely. The owner negotiated with Expedia and we were refunded for six nights!. Where does this happen? Phat and Pei , managing the front desk, doubling as concierges and drivers, could not have been kinder. The breakfast scene was delicious and magical, room was clean and lovely. Very quiet location.

Le Sen Boutique Hotel was a wonderful oasis for us in Luang Prabang. We stayed in two hotels in Luang Prabang and one in Vang Vieng, and Le Sen surpassed our expectations. The decor and vibe is very peaceful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The dual shower was lovely - the large tub was leaking water so we didn’t get to use it but it looked amazing. We had some of the best green curry for dinner at the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast was full of yummy choices. Very nice grounds and clever use of small space for pool, water festers, and eating area/bar. Would definitely stay again.

It was our second stay in LeSen Hotel. The first time we frequented this beautiful and wellmaintained boutique hotel was 11 years ago, in 2013. In that year the hotel was fairly new and at the time I had nothing but praise for these premises and their management (my report is still on Trip Advisor/ May 2013).
So it was rather exciting to come back. And it did not disappoint. We were welcomed by manager Phou as his very, very valued guests. And then more magical and very appreciated things happened. We were offered and upgraded to the beautiful villa and when we entered our villa this complimentary bottle of red wine was awaiting for us. And it did not stop there. Anyway, to make a long story short being in the villa (and hotel) was again so amazing and it did not loose any of it glory in the past 11 years. Also the hotelrestaurant is a very good choice since they serve freshly made local delicasies and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever eaten, with freshly made bread, jams and this great overnight oatmeal. The staff itself is very accommodating and sweet and they do their utmost to make everything perfect.
Dear mister Phou, thank you so much for creating a new marvelous memory of our stay in Luang Prabang and us revisiting your hotel.

We have just had an amazing four days in Luang Prabang. A big part of the enjoyment was the wonderful Le Sen experience. The staff were wonderful, attentive and super helpful in organising places to visit, restaurants to sample and they had a free shuttle service all over town. Our room was gorgeous with sustainability in mind - refillable bathroom accessories, glass bottles water etc. the morning breakfast menu was always delicious and the daily complimentary afternoon tea was just icing on the cake of a fabulous experience. Thank you Le Sen!

Five-star reviews are a dime a dozen…but Le Sen really stood out. The cozy town of Luang Prabang has plenty of places to stay, but the charming Le Sen Boutique Hotel is the way to go. Accommodations are clean with everything you’d need. The Villa room is wonderful with a private outdoor duel shower and separate jacuzzi…awesome. The restaurant makes delicious food with great choices of western or Lao fare. They coordinated a motorbike for us delivered to the hotel that worked perfect. The quiet pool is just the right temperature for the heat of the day or evening. The most impressive aspect was the staff and their hospitality. Every person there was so kind and accommodating making certain all was taken care of. Special shout out to the Executive Manager Benjamin Roger who was outstanding making sure everything was just right (ask him to make you a special cocktail…that’s his side passion!). The customer service at Le Sen was exceptional from the moment we arrived until we said goodbye. Truly couldn’t have received better treatments or a better place to stay. Excellent experience end to end.

We visited Luang Prabang and stayed at Le Sen in early September—we’d highly recommend staying there. In addition to a stylish and comfortable hotel environment, the staff’s warmth and attention to detail really made our stay.
In terms of location, the hotel offers an excellent base from which to explore all of LP (and surrounding areas). When the weather held up, we were able to walk or bike to everywhere we wanted to in town. The hotel shuttle was also a huge plus, regularly dropping us off and picking us up within town for free. The hotel staff also helped us organize a visit to Kuang Si waterfalls (about an hour away) by reserving a van and driver.
We stayed in the Villa and highly recommend it, especially if you are going to be there for a few days. The extra space was worth it! And the outdoor shower and tub were a nice touch.
The hotel food was also excellent. Each day we started with a fantastic a la carte breakfast and were treated like family. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant for one excellent dinner, where they offered a mix of western and Lao food.
Finally, we want to give a huge shoutout to Ben, the manager, who helped us throughout our stay. Ben eagerly and kindly answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond in terms of assisting with logistics
We hope to return to LP again soon, and will definitely stay at Le Sen.

This boutique hotel is a true oasis in Luang Prabang, which is an oasis in itself. The hotel is very new, very clean and beautifully equipped. The room has a lovely balcony overlooking a pool. We slept very well here - big bed, comfortable sheets and very quiet. There is a daily à la carte breakfast which is locally sourced, freshly made and delicious! We enjoyed luxuriating over our morning coffee in the outdoor seating area. But, there is a closed portion for those that want air conditioning. We also had dinner here one night and it was a really wonderful meal. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to the night market and they offer free bicycles. What a wonderful place!! I can't say anything negative about it!! ♥️♥️

We stayed 4 nights in the suite and this was the best hotel experience during our 6 weeks in Laos. The boutique hotel is designed with so much love, so many details and the ambience is peaceful, calm and relaxing. We loved everything about our stay: the perfect vegan options for breakfast and dinner (they have so many different kinds of plant milk and they are all homemade), the beautiful garden with fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs, the staff was unbelievable friendly and helpful. The owner runs this place with such much vision, care and love which you can feel directly when entering the lobby. The pool was perfect after a busy sightseeing tour in town. They have even helped us with extending our visa for Laos. We have to say: THANK YOU for the wonderful time. We think about this experience every day.
Also: This boutique hotel is on its way to become more sustainable which is amazing. Vegan options, own vegetable garden that serves the in-house restaurant, refillable shampoo dispenser, water dispenser is following. We just loved how they take care of everything and think about the environment.

From our pick up at the airport to the end of our 6 night stay at Le Sen boutique hotel, we loved everything! The entire hotel team was extraordinary, a true 5-star service! The villa where we stayed was a haven of serenity and comfort, featuring a magnificent garden with an outdoor shower and a huge jacuzzi! All the staff are charming and attentive, with a real sense of hospitality (which is rare today) responding to all our requests whether for excursions in the surrounding area, good addresses in Luang Prabang, restaurants, shops etc… The breakfast is excellent, the bread, the croissants are delicious! The restaurant is great! With a nice menu for lunch and dinner. Thank you to the entire Le Sen boutique hotel team for this magnificent stay in Luang Prabang ❤️
