I really can't say enough about this hotel. There may be larger more luxury hotels in the area, but this is without a doubt a high end experience, from the room details down to the service. I can't say enough about the staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of you. Food was excellent and the attention from the staff when dining or having drinks was top notch. The rooms are beautiful, have sort of a treehouse vibe and the location right on one of the rivers can't be beat. There really isn't a more beautiful place to sit and take your breakfast or enjoy a cocktail in the evening. The price is also extremely reasonable for the level of quality and service you'll receive. The location is also very central, I think there are some large resorts going in now outside of town, but this puts you right near the sights, the best restaurants and shops, and Luang Prabang is a very peaceful and safe town to explore

We booked the deluxe balcony room for four nights with a couple weeks notice for a stay in the first week of January. After much deliberation as it was a bit out of our budget. We were very happy with our choice and wished we could stay longer. The room was beautiful comfortable and spacious with a balcony facing the river. I was a little worried when we booked because it looked like it was on a main road, but the road turned out to be pretty quiet traffic-wise and we had no noise issues at all (and enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the road actually!). The breakfast was generous and had both Lao and Western options aplenty. Service was excellent as well - my partner has an allergy to down, and the staff were very attentive and accommodating and immediately changed our down duvet to a blanket upon request. This is only one example, and the hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. Only thing I would improve would be the led lights outside the hotel. These were a little distracting when sitting outside at night and took away from the historic feel (although they didn't in any way disturb your sleep thanks to the shutters and curtains in the rooms), but this is a minor point in what was a wonderful experience which I would love to repeat.

We visited Luang Prabang and stayed for two nights at the Burasari Heritage hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, the rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet and we had a delightful time. The service was superb and all the staff are friendly, very helpful and competent. Our friend Lan was particularly gracious, engaging and informative. Breakfasts are included and were delicious- the eggs Benedict were outstanding! Dining on the Terrace was very pleasant and comfortable and the industrious staff transformed the floor from dirt to artificial turf in an afternoon- amazing!! Chef John is a superb chef and every dish that he, Chef Noy and their team prepared for us was excellent. I highly recommend Chef John’s cooking class. He escorted a group of six of us through the morning market, patiently describing all the exotic local offerings. Fascinating! He then allowed us to help him prepare an absolutely delicious luncheon meal of local fish, stir fried vegetables and an out of this world banana mango dessert. This is my first trip advisor posting and I highly recommend the Burasari. We could not have asked for more!

Very nice room with all needed facilities. We stayed in room 401 which has the view of the river. Staffs are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very well prepared. Star, Sook, Woy, Lee, Lan, Chai are very attentive to the details to make sure everything is alright while we’re staying.
The only complain-able thing is somehow we can hear footsteps and door slamming from room above us which is annoying sometimes.

We had a booked to stay at the Burasari Heritage but when we arrived the hotel had not received our booking from our travel agent. Constantin, the Manager, asked us if we'd want to have dinner while we were waiting for them to sort things out because they were sold out. Dinner by the river was excellent, the waitress was super attentive and the food delicious. An amazing grand cru was offered as compensation for our troubles. Then once we finished our dinner Constantin came to let us know he had secured a room at 2 other hotels as all comparable hotels were sold out and could not accommodate 2 consecutive nights. We arrived at the first of the two hotels and were upgraded to a suite. It is lovely and although we are sad we did not stay at the Burasari Heritage we really feel Constantin made the best of what could have been a disastrous situation. So, we are happy to recommend the hotel based on our experience of how the situation was handled and also because the hotel looks very good and the location is amazing.

Where do I start? On arrival to the Burasari Heritage, my partner and I were treated like the royal family. They sat us down and explained everything about the hotel to us, told us everything about this great little village of Luang Prabang and then they finally showed us our amazing room. Our room was absolutely stunning, just like the rest of the hotel! The hotel is in such a great location, only a few minutes walk to the main CBD.
Breakfast on the river is also just absolutely breath taking, the kitchen staff and wait staff do anything out of their control to make you feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. The food and drinks are so good!
The staff really make you welcomed and apart of the Burasari family. This place is a must stay and I will be recommending it to anyone that is planning on coming to Laos.

As I said to Mr. Kost, fantastic GM of Burasari Heritage, this place has become our family’s most favorite hotel in Luang Prabang especially my mom. The location is everything. I can walk to most of main attractions. Small preserved compound but luxurious, nice and very clean. All staff here are well trained. Some of them are superstar. I can say their name; Ruby (She is incredibly nice and attentive), Star (He is the walking encyclopedia) and Jun (trainee) at restaurant. Bounmee at reception and Bou (driver to the airport) are very active, polite and helpful. Thank to Xay for the arrangements before arrival, good job! but prompt and fast response is my suggestion to improve.
I highly recommend Deluxe Balcony Room type on second floor to view the serenity of Khan river. I have been informed my room is the best room of this property. I am quite satisfied with space and facilities. Beautiful wooden floor and ancient furniture Iike my childhood home. Totally nostalgic! But be careful about adjusting air conditioner, please tell staff to check it.
One more thing you should do here is spending quality time at Spa Burasari. Mo and Maiy are very welcome and caring. Masseur No and Pom are amazing! I can say this is truly 5-star luxury spa but pay much less!

I had an impressive 3 days vacation in Luang Prabang. Staying at Burasari Heritage hotel, located on the bank of Khan River, very convenient and closed to Wat XiangThong and other attractions. The hotel staff were very nice with excellent service mind. The room ambience was functional and tastefully decorated. There was also cooking class and they really took me to local market to see what offered and to buy some ingredients. A lot of offers for guests, activities such as bicycle, free minibar. Terrace, the hotel's restaurant offers very delicious food selections, especially Lao-Food. Burasari Luxury Spa was one of the best things to enjoy when relaxing in LuangPrabang. NARAWIN L.

This hotel is good located in the centrum of Luang Prabang, along the Nam Khan river.
The rooms, all in wood, are very beautiful and comfortable.
The team is kind and is always helping us.
The man in Sunset villa, Sone, is especially friendly and our days along the Mekong river are unforgettable.
The breakfast, on the terrace along the river with a superb view is very good : fresh orange juice, good coffee and croissants, home made jams, omelets,...
We recommand this hotel.

I extended my stay by an additional 2 nights because it was such a great all-around experience. The property is beautiful, well-maintained and extremely comfortable and clean. The location is excellent within walking distance of shops and cafes however you might hardly want to leave the property. From the room balcony views you can watch passer buyers on foot or on the river. I had 2 massages at the spa which was a true treat beyond every day massages. What also stood out was the personnel. Truly great service with a high level of professionalism. Thank you for making a relaxing stay!

From the airport in Luang Prabang I went to a different hotel first and then found this one once I was already there but it’s very easy to get around luang Prabang if you stay near the city center ( is very beautiful and it’s definitely worth it !) .. everywhere around town there are tour offices that goes to the waterfall .. from the airport if you take a tuck tuck to any hotel around the city center the ride has a fix price if US 5$. It is a very charming place I absolutely loved it .
There are more places to choose from in the Luang Prabang area.
