Sada Hotel was beautiful! The staff was welcoming and very happy to see us although their Engish was limited. They walked us into a courtyard past the coy pond and up a flight of stairs to our suite. Our entrance overlooked the big swimming pool. We opened the door to an expansive room with beautiful old furniture, a gorgeous wooden floor, and a full wall of floor to ceiling windows. One window was actually a door to the balcony which overlooked the courtyard and coy pond and ran the length of our room. It had two chairs and a table. In the room was a large bed that was very comfortable. There was a good deal of storage in the furniture. The furniture included a desk and chair and a table set for dinner with two chairs. There were also two casual chairs and a coffee table where we watched TV until we realized there was little in English. The staff put fruit on the coffee table daily. In the armoire were two robes. The bathroom included a shower, a soaking tub and a sink. Breakfast was included and was served in a beautiful dining rom on the first floor. The pool was warm and clean and empty of guests when we were there. About a mile away is a night market which includes a large eating space with numerous food vendors and many food choices. It is walkable if you can walk about a mile in the heat, but tuk-tuks are easily found and very inexpensive. Have Lao money in small amounts to pay. A tuk-tuk to the night market was about $3.00 or as much as $5.00 when they picked us up in the pouring rain. Sada was peaceful and relaxing and the price was very reasonable.

Loved the room as soon as I walked in and saw all the dark wood. It indeed looks like a tropical lodge. A very large clean, well-appointed room. And with a balcony!
The location was on a main street with an ATM just across the street, but no noise. About 20 minutes of walking to the city center's night market, or get an inexpensive ride.
Staff was friendly, helpful.
Enjoyed the option of eating breakfast outside near the street, sheltered by an awning.
Really liked being there, would be my first choice if I ever return to Luang Prabang.

Nice quiet rooms and very good breakfast. A very nice pool too but it was too cool to use during our winter visit. OK location, not much to walk to but lots of jumbos available. It could be a very good value and we enjoyed our stay, but some small things keep me from giving a 5. We had a couple of minor issues in the room but they were addressed immediately. Certainly worth considering in the future.

The staff wasn’t friendly and barely spoke english. You don’t get a second key card unless you leave a deposit. Don’t you dare to lose the card or the only one who will be lost is you! They have no ice and if you order it they will charge it to your room! They have no normal soda drinks like Coke or tonic water. No coffee , no tea , only during breakfast time. The reception is being built ( dust everywhere) The hotel is far from the down town. The area is not that nice. Far too expensive for the quality they offer. No shower curtain or division , no space to leave ypur beauty case.

Very nicely kept older hotel with lots of beautiful wood. A quarter of a mile from the city center but certainly walkable (the hotel provides rides into town as well). Don't forget to check out the massage center two doors down from the hotel.

Nice hotel in colonial style. Location just outside the center but by shuttle service no problem. Equipped with all comforts and amenities such as large swimming pool. Too bad the restaurant is of moderate quality and there is no cozy bar. Breakfast is average. Does not excel in choice of European. Staff super friendly. Room nice, a bit noisy. Showering in the bath is not always convenient.

Pros: 1. Buggy service 2. Clean room 3. Friendly staff 4. Good location
Cons: 1. Power cuts 2. Mosquitos 3. Mediocre breakfast
Overall: It was a pleasant stay in sada hotel because of the clean room and friendly staff. Power cut in the middle of the nights was quite a bummer.

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed the stay.
The staff are quite nice and helpful.
The center of the town is a short fifteen minute walk away. ATM close by. Nice pool, however it was very cool when we were staying.
Would definitely return.

We arrived at this quaint little hotel after a strenuous 9.5 hour bus ride from Loei in North-East Thailand. As soon as we got there they greeted us with smiles and checked us in promptly.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were always quick to assist with any needs we had and always with a big smile!
There is a free hotel shuttle bus that takes you to the Town centre, of which is about 2km away. The shuttle bus details its set drop-off and pick-up up times to and from the centre, but as the hotel was quiet when we stayed, the staff very kindly arranged for us drop-offs and pick-ups whenever we requested it! This was so thoughtful of them and a fantastic example of excellent customer service!
In terms of location, I think it's a good thing being 2km from the town as it's not at all far and it means you can escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre. In addition to the shuttle service, you can also rent bikes for free and it really doesn't take long to get there, either way!
The included breakfast was also excellent and served fresh and with care, unlike many other hotels that serve a fly-riddanded buffet that's been sitting out for God-knows how long!
The hotel in itself is very tastefully decorated in a beautiful and traditional Laos-style. The pool area is very tranquil and spacious, with comfortable deck chairs to soak up the sunshine. The only thing I'd suggest perhaps the hotel should boost the WiFi as it was hard to get a good signal in our room at times, but this wasn't a major issue.
All in all if you want a peaceful and relaxing stay then I thoroughly recommend this hotel! Thank you to everyone here for the fantastic stay!

First impression of the room was that the room smelled rather of smoke but the bed was beautifully made up and the bed was massive – big enough to sleep four. We were in Room 205, unfortunately there was a dog barking outside much of the time as well as a cockerel outside in the mornings which I didn’t object to as much. There was also banging from building work going on. There is a table and chairs on the balcony. The wifi once it got going was fine. There is a kettle, tea and coffee.
The room needed a good dust especially the wood carvings over the bed, floor around bedside table, and the bedside table surface was sticky.
The bathroom (which was dark) has a corner bath with shower above but no shower curtain, it is difficult not to soak the floor. There are no surfaces to place toiletries – a few toiletries are supplied but not replenished. I couldn’t tell the hot tap from the cold which was risky as the hot water was extremely hot.
Visiting here as part of a tour of Indochina it was noticeable that staff were less smart. However they were very friendly and helpful and will iron as it is not permitted to iron in the room. Breakfast here was regarded by many in our group as excellent. It is possible to have seating outside for breakfast however this is up against a busy road. There is shuttle bus the short distance to the centre.
