Booked 3 nights and loved it so much we stayed another. Very friendly welcoming family run business. Nice and clean rooms. Location is a mater of steps from river front restaurants and also nice and quiet in the evening so there is no need to worry about a decent sleep. They also help with bookings and any recommendations of where...

My fiancée and I had a great time at the Apple Guesthouse. Main Points: the showers are European (a shower-head in the bathroom, no separate shower), rooms are very clean and nice, however be aware that if you have a large luggage it may be hard to navigate in the small space - rooms are fairly small. The safe is...

Fantastic location. Incredibly friendly staff. We stayed in a deluxe double room. The family helped us plan trips, recommend eateries, provided a very relaxing atmosphere with a balcony and unlimited coffee, tea and water and practically substituted for my parents when I got into a bad motorbike accident. Their generosity, hospitality and understanding will always be remembered. That's rare these...

Friendly and helpful staff, well facilitated guest house with large, well-kept rooms. Dirt and dust came out of the air con that had obviously not been used for some time but was this an issue for me? No. Good location and reasonably priced. We would have stayed longer if they had room!

Overall was good experience in Apple Guesthouse. Location is strategic to either Mekong River, Namkhan River or night market. Restaurants and cafes are nearby. Friendly staff and clean room. The only issue was the error on the booking, they were run out of the room On our first night stay out of 4 nights that we booked. The owner has...

Jimmy is the manager\owner and a great host, very friendly with the guests and provides objective advice on excursions. He speaks good English. There is a clerk on duty 24x7 in the reception. The rooms are plain, modest furnishings, clean and well-kept with air-condition and a fan. You need to take off your shoes at the entrance… Includes a TV...

This guesthouse was a delight to return to each day. The staff always went out of their way to help us get the best excursions, prices and trip plans for our time in Luang Prabang. On top of that, they have a cozy guest area where you can eat your own food (no breakfast provided here, which is fine since...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Apple Guest House offers quaint, personalized and friendly 10 room accommodation in the heart of this unique UNESCO heritage city, just behind the main tourist street and two doors from the mighty Mekong River and its varied restaurants for all budgets. A short walk will get you to the major attractions; temples, restaurants, tourist information, tours, and morning and night markets are just around the corner. Rooms are spotlessly maintained; many in teak, which is the traditional Lao style. All have air conditioning, fan, free Wifi, LED TV with CNN, BBC, HBO and the Australian network. The two superior rooms each have their own private balconies overlooking the quiet streetscape. One superior double room has a fantastic brand new private bamboo porch creating a stylish romantic atmosphere for people like "YOU". Our family rooms are very spacious. And the customer service by Lao owner Jimmy (a former Buddhist monk and who has lived with his Australian family for 12 years) and his beautiful wife "Nou", is truly exceptional. They both speak excellent English, have good local knowledge of the city and countryside and are very helpful with Tuk Tuk, travel and tour bookings.  The common balcony upstairs overlooks the alleyway’s activities, where you can sit and enjoy free tea, coffee, cool water and magazines, and is a popular place for people using the free WiFi.   Nou and Jimmy invite you to come and experience our warm hospitality. ... more   less
