This hotel is about 10 minutes from main city hotel free transfer from airport . All staff very good , small breakfast but ok for us , room is big with river view , I recommend this hotel if you want relax
Thongbay was recommended by a friend and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Free airport pick up - perfect. Check in - easy. Room with river view, huge bathroom, comfy bed, mozzie net, fridge, tea coffee making etc etc - awesome.

Amazing tropical paradise near to Luang Prabang town. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast delivered to our bungalow each day was special. Free shuttle in and out of town was really useful. Restaurant served good quality food and there was plenty of Beer Lao available...More

I can't say I noticed sport fishing in LP, and I really doubt Thongbay caters to it, but there was guided fishing in Muang Ngoi, a day trip by minivan and boat up the Nam Ou river. You would need two nights in Muang Ngoi to fish it. And it's a great trip into the hills of Laos.
