This place looks great from the street, but was a big disappointment. The room was just plain dirty, as if it hadn't had a good cleaning in months. The staff were surly, and provided minimal service on request. The building is beautiful, and this could be a great hotel if the management cared to put a bit of effort into...

I stayed in another guesthouse most of my time in Luang Prabang. I only booked here to see the monks in the morning and the balcony was perfect for that. Otherwise the madras was so hard that I almost didn't sleep and the wifi doesn't work properly. Nobody in the staff spoken english.

Apart from the good location opposite the Tempel there is not much to it. Room was very small and Bathroom was not very clean and which seemed not to be cleaned once during our four day stay. We found a similar room for nearly three times less just two minutes down the road.

Right across the street from the Senesouk Monastery; we loved going out on the balcony in the morning to watch the monks’ procession from right outside our room, hearing the gong, etc. Also perfectly located, within walking distance to the Museum and the sacred hill in the middle of town. Staff were helpful in organizing an excursion to see the...

We had a night's stay here - the room is fine, they even have free coffee at the reception if you want, but the experience was disappointing Firstly, I emailed them a few times beforehand to ask if they can arrange a driver for us. There was no reply and the earliest email was sent more than a month ahead....

When I checked in to this hotel I was really pleased, the garden room we had was peaceful and there was free tea and coffee all day. The staff were friendly and the bed was ok. However, the weather turned cold (end of January) and there was no heating in the whole of the hotel. I was absolutely freezing the...

I booked a de-luxe room for 2 for 5 nights, when we arrived were put in a pokie little room out the back, and when we complained were told there was nothing they could do about it. The staff were unfriendly and not interested in helping us. I left after 2 nights and was not able to get any refund.

Great value for money hotel. It is located within five minutes walk of the centre of town and in a lovely spot on the peninsula. The hotel is clean but a little dated. I would definately reccomend It is opposite a very large temple which can be noisy in the morning. Ask for a room to the rear.
