We booked the room on the rooftop and we loved it. Nabil is an excellent host. The house he has renovated is a heaven of peace and tranquility. It is an ideal place from which to explore the city ... first and foremost the little streets of Mina, the port area but also some other interesting parts of the city... More

Nabil and Maya were great hosts. Made us feel very comfortable and at home. Great conversation and answered our touristy questions. Private room, very clean and comfortable. Getting there is a little tricky so calling them before hand would help. Highly recommended!

Beit El Nessim was restored with lot of passion and patience. The neighbourhood is calm, and peaceful and let you travel back in time where roads were not meant for cars. Some sections of this house date back to the early 1800 years. Sand Stone, arches, iron, marble will let you reimagine how people lived during these days. I was... More

Beit El Nessim is a stunningly restored, delightfully calm, and wonderfully friendly historic bed and breakfast in El Mina, the site of the ancient Phoenician city of Tripolis and 5km from downtown Tripoli. The cool stone walls, centuries old, in El Mina's atmospheric central pedestrian area hide a calming courtyard and 6 charming, tasteful and spacious rooms with large bathrooms... More

There were some really good things about staying here. It was in an interesting location and the house is lovely. The bottom is an old crusader house and it has been sympathetically restored. It is close to local bars and to the sea. The owner is very nice and the room was large. On the down side, despite staying for... More

The hotel would gladly change the sheets, and provide fresh towels and soap upon request, yet no such requests were made. The first time these problems were brought to the fore is right here. We are sorry we were not given the chance to make our guest happier. More

We spent three days at Beit el Nessim in Tripoli in early June and cannot recommend it enough. Nabil Najjar has undertaken a labour of love to refurbish an old house in the Mina area of the city and the results are fantastic. Much more a 'home stay' than a hotel, this is perfect for adventurous travelers looking for real... More

My husband and I stayed here in late April. It is a guest house renovated by Nabil who has lovely taste in decor. Away from the busy streets of Tripoli the house is very tranquil and has a lovely roof terrace ideal for early evening drinks and breakfast. Nabil is an excellent host. The rooms are well furnished, clean with... More
