Haena Manuj and Norie did a great job at Spa Pool every day again and again! The modern healthy food concept is also a nice new spot for vegan and vegetarians. Service is really polite from all of them!

My husband and I chose the Five Palm Jumeirah for the first 4 nights of our honeymoon. The room was clean, comfortable and had a stunning view. The beach was beautiful and the sunbathing chairs provided by the hotel are great! We were always greeted at the hotel by friendly faces and felt like we were being taken care of. When the hotel heard that it was our honeymoon, they immediately connected us to Seanne, the hotel’s lifestyle executive and she arranged a turndown service in our room as a surprise for my husband and I. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel special for our celebration. Vartan Zakarian was another employee who went above and beyond to accommodate us and was a friendly face to come back to throughout our experience at the hotel. Overall, all the staff was extremely helpful and kind.

We got the Five Palm Beach experience at its best. We had the pleasure to be served by Amar and he did a great job to fulfill all our wishes. The service was fast and no long waiting to get new drinks or food. Definitely worth a visit.

If you are young, single and have more money than brains, this is the hotel for you. I read a few reviews stating that if you aren’t “somebody” they won’t pay you any attention...and it’s 100% true. This is an instagram influencer heaven. But Instagram is very different from reality. Check in did not go smooth at all since we arrived at 2:30 and our rooms were not ready. Our first room, Junior suite with sea view, was available at 3:00 and we headed up with our group to wait for the second room. We didn’t receive our bags for an hour and a half. I had to go down and search for it in the bag storage only to find out that it was sent to second room that wasn’t ready yet. Room service is pretty quick in comparison to other hotels. We ordered a Napoletana margarita pizza and an Oreo milkshake. The pizza was not a Napoletana, it was just a normal pizza you would find in the frozen food aisle. Shake was pretty good. 95 AED for a frozen pizza; I’ll order delivery next time. The room itself was my biggest disappointment. For the money you pay, i expected more. Entering the Junior Suite, it feels like they selected some random modern style furniture and just placed it into the living room. It had no flow, no warmth to it. It felt very uninviting. The floor throughout the suite is cold marble, no carpets and the furniture is a depressing dark blue. They focus heavily on the mini bar area with a large bar table that includes many different types of liquor and add-ins. The TV positionings in the room are just irritating. The living room TV is in space between the couches and the table, facing neither one so it’s awkward wherever you decide to stay. But the worse one is the bedroom TV that stays at a 90 degree angle to the bed and does not swivel to match the angle of the bed. We had to position ourselves the other way on the bed to have a movie night. The people who designed this room really didn’t know what they were doing. The bathroom is nice but the white tub has a brown tinge to it making me not want to use it. The amenities in the bathroom are very poor compared to other hotels. They bolt to the wall the shampoo, soaps and lotions. For 2500€ I take it as an insult. (And don’t give me that “we are eco friendly” excuse when they wrap all their beach towels in plastic and have 10 super cars parked in front available for rent) The only redeeming quality of the Junior suite with sea view is in the name; the sea view. We were on the left side (looking to the beach) on the 11th floor and we had a very nice view of the pool area, beach, sea and marina. Really nice for relaxing in the evening and taking pictures. There are only two chairs (not sunbeds) on the balcony. The pictures/layout they have on the website are borderline lies when it comes to the suites. The superior sea view room did look much better than our Junior suite and was more inline with what they pictures/layout looked like. Also the flow of the room was better and seemed more like a standard 5 star room compared to our Junior suite. Breakfast is split into two areas on either side of the main pool. Due to covid, they will fill your plate when you see something you like, unless you go before 8:30 and then you serve yourself because covid isn’t awake that early and neither are the staff. The food was okay and most of it was fresh tasting but the options were few and spread out in weird places. They only have 3 types of fruits available; pineapple, watermelon and melon. My group was very disappointed. No exotic fruits at all. They did accommodate one of our group members with gluten intolerance with gluten free bread. It was hard to get a hold of a waiter to order some coffee or eggs and sometimes it came after we finished our meal and were ready to leave. I also spotted a worker taking some pita bread and sneak it under his apron(weird). Some staff are generally very helpful and understanding. They seem to act as if they know that this hotel is not up to par and are trying to make the best out of the situation. Most of the problems are not the staffs fault but upper management on a corporate level, not hotel management. Most of the positive reviews I’ve read about this hotel were from people who were not guests of the hotel but paid to stay at the beach or pool for the day. I laughed when I read that women pay around 100 AED for access while men have to pay up to 400 AED for beach/pool access. The pool area is EXTREMELY small and cramped. I wish you the best of luck trying to find a sun bed. They are all “promised” even before breakfast. Like I said, if you aren’t “somebody” they don’t care. The beach area is very large and does have plenty of sun beds available IF you get there before mid day. We got to the beach at around 9:30 and we got front row chairs (all the heavy partiers and drinkers sleep late). They have good wifi at the pool and beach. The food and drinks by the pool are good but kind of pricey (obviously). I like how at other hotels they give you free bottled water by the pool/beach but here they charge you 30 AED per bottle. I read reviews where people were asked not to take pictures/videos next to the pool/beach but I didn’t see any of that. Every single person there was either instagramming it, live-streaming it and some even had DSLR cameras on gimbal stabilizers. If you have kids, this is NOT the hotel for you. Go to an established hotel chain. Don’t be fooled by all the exotic cars in front of the hotel thinking this is where all the rich people go; they are all available for rent from the hotel. This hotel has a big prostitute crowd. They hang around the lobby which is why there is security at every entrance to the hotel and also at the elevator verifying that you are actually a guest. It was our mistake for booking at this hotel in the first place since we are not the “party/influencer” type. At least we got lucky because we were here during Ramadan, but even so, the loud electronic music was still going on. Can’t imagine what it’s like during normal times. Also elevator doors are disgusting!
