Previously called al hamra. Now called Monaco hotel, it is at best a 3 star hotel. The food is terrible. The restaurant is horrible. I do not recommend this hotel. I have been to many 4 star hotels. This hotel has the worst restaurant i have seen.

Nice place, sure. Terrible people working there and the worst team that keeps the online bookings. The people managing this place made us feel unwanted in Dubai. The even cancelled our room and wanted us to pay for a much more expensive one.

If only the size of the hotel would be bigger, then it would have been considered as a 5star hotel undoubtedly! Especially if you consider to the hotels in Europe, way cheaper and way better. I am sure no one would have any complaints with the cleanliness of the hotel.

On the way to station, you can find nice(inexpensive and taste good)restaurants, supermarkets and a souvenior shop. Deira area is not like Dubai which travelers are expected as fancy Dubai, but easy atomosphere I really liked. However I do NOT...
